it was very much simpler to use the threading hooks for the needles, and using it was very smooth and quieter than the juki serger, I love this machine and would continue to use it instead of trading it.

This machine comes with a manual that is a great resource for me in order to get the most out of this machine, it's helpful to practice each stitch on different types of scrap fabric, noting the settings used. That way, I’ll have a reference when starting a new project.This serger is a true workhorse. It performs beautifully, even for projects like scrunchies with rolled hems, setting up this machine for serging made all the difference. I’m giving it four stars because it meets my needs, was delivered on time, and performs well with some adjustments.

The foot pedal requires a certain position to work and when it does, the machine starts sewing so fast without even touching the foot pedal. That’s dangerous.

For the money, this is a decent serger. It is easier to thread the upper and lower bloopers that the Brother I had for 30 years. I was pleasantly surprised. I had it up and running in minutes. With a few adjustments, I had it sewing nicely. I'm pleased with this purchase!

I could not thread the under looper

The manual is extremely helpful when you first start out. You should practice all of the stitches with different types of scrap fabric so you know what each of the stitches look like for each of the setting. Write down what the settings were for each one. Once you have done that then you can refer back when you start a project happy serging. This machine is a work horse. I have muscular dystrophy and cant do a rolled hem on my regular sewing machine. So I set it up on my serger overlock machine. It does them so well. I sewed scrunchies also with the rolled hem settings. Practice, practice, practice.
