Lost my factory charger for my camera. I got this hoping it would work because it was not the same style as my original charger. Plugged it in after it arrived and it charged my dead battery in less than an hour! Since it plugs directly into the wall there’s no extra pieces to get lost. This style was also cheaper than the factory style. It is very durable and compact for travel. Still a cannon product but, in my opinion, works way better than the original style that came with my camera. Totally worth the money!

I have tried a different brand for a charger nothing works as good as the original

shipping- came super fast. got to use with the new Canon Powershot V1 for the LP-E17 battery. the charger has the prongs go directly into the plug/ no cord that connects to it. I just wish that Canon offered a battery dual battery charger. Has worked good so far.

Was told would fit my camera battery in description and it totally doesn’t.

The single charger costs more but my peace of mind demands it. I have NEVER had a problem with anything bought with the Canon brand. Yes, I've tried less expensive stuff that were a lot less expensive and had some items even short out. That's unrealibility I simply will no longer afford. This also goes to buying extra batteries.
