To make a great cup, you must start the night before after carefully disassembling and washing and drying and then reassembling and then grounding your beans and keep everything ready. Once you are done with the prep work by around 3-4 am. you can sleep and wake up at 6 am and start making the coffee, within a reasonable 5 to 120 mins wait time your coffee is ready and it 5 mins to your work starts. 10/10

Superbe cafetière! Café excellent, bel objet. Prend un peu de temps pour faire le café mais ça en vaut la peine, et c'est tellement joli à regarder. Le café est très bon, à mi-chemin entre la cafetière italienne et un bon café filtre. Tester différentes moutures!

Wer sich auf die Schnelle einen Kaffee kochen möchte, sollte hier bitte gleich nach Vollautomaten suchen, denn für den ist der Kaffeesyphon nicht das Richtige. Nach Aeropress und Chemex habe ich mir nun endlich meine Sammlung durch den Hario Kaffeesyphon ergänzt. Für die Zubereitung sollte man sich etwas Zeit nehmen. Es lohnt sich aber, da der Kaffee sehr lecker schmeckt. Mit dem ein oder anderen Youtube Video hatte ich sehr schnell die richtige Vorgehensweise drauf. Und dann auch schon bald den ersten leckeren Kaffee zubereitet. Die einzelnen Teile sind sehr gut verarbeitet, es passt alles zusammen und fast sich sehr angenehm an. Mit dabei ist auch eine Anleitung, aber wie schon gesagt, einfacher ist es mit einem Video Tutorial. Spielraum zum Experimentieren gibt es dann beim Mahlgrad der Bohnen, bei der Kaffee- bzw. Wassermenge. Auch die Wassertemperatur, wenn das Wasser nach oben gestiegen ist, lässt noch Möglichkeiten offen, den Geschmack zu beeinflussen. Mit der Spiritusflamme komme ich sehr gut zurecht, auch wenn in den Foren eine Gasflamme empfohlen wird. Also auch da noch eine Möglichkeit zu optimieren. Geschmacklich würde ich das Ergebnis im Bereich Aeropress und Chemex einordnen. Jedes der Geräte geht etwas in eine andere Richtung. Mit den richtigen Bohnen lösen alle bei mir Begeisterung aus.

La ví por primera vez en Bali y mi pareja se enamoró de ella, asi que se la compré y está encantado. Es fácil de limpiar y si colocas el agua fría, el calentador (por más pequeño que parezca) se encarga de que en poco minutos entre en ebullición.

After extensive researching and looking around for a new coffee syphon, I finally decided to go with the Hario TCA-3 coffee syphon. I have just recently started getting into the world of coffee after a trip to Japan where many cafes use syphons and v60s to brew coffee. When I got back to states, I missed the coffee I had over there and wanted to emulate it so I bought this syphon. After learning how to use it properly, I found that it was really easy and made great coffee like I had in Japan! Many of the reviews say that the alcohol burner doesn't burn hot enough or its ineffective but in my experience it worked totally fine. I use this syphon to brew coffee for guests and I have gotten complements on how good the coffee tastes. The only minor setback people may find brewing with this syphon is that it takes some time to clean thoroughly but I don't mind it at all. I really recommend this syphon to anyone who wants good coffee and a neat looking way to brew it.
