I wanted some basic unmanaged switches with 10G SFP+ ports and these looked like a good option. Been using them for months now and they've been rock solid. No issues at all and they seem to be holding up well. The price is brilliant compared with better known brands but the cost savings seem to be with stuff like lacking rubber feet rather than with the build quality. They're sturdy, have a metal chassis, and just do exactly what it says on the tin. Performance seems excellent as well. I've got full 2.5G and have a 10G fibre link between house floors which has worked flawlessly. I'm also running to a 5G nic on a PC and a 10G nice on a NAS. Both are fast and reliable. Haven't been able to confirm the 10G speed is actually as rated but there's nothing to indicate it would be any less. If either died I'd probably replace like for like in a heartbeat since they're cheap and cheerful.

Does the job well so far. Hitting 10GB+ on the 2 dedicated ports. Really nice bit of kit. Gets warm. Make sure to provide adequate airflow.

I was slightly nervous buying these at around £70 for 2.5Gb and 2 SFP+ ports, seemed too good to be true. Pleasantly surprised as these work perfectly! Been running these for 4 months continuous with no issues. Great value for money and with 10 total ports enough connection for most setups. They seem to work at the reported speeds but I haven't pushed them to their limits. Ended up with 3 to get my whole home network to 2.5GB. Plan to use some copper modules to get the whole backbone up to 10GB at some point. The seem to run cold without SFP in use at least. Setup couldn't be easier, just plug in and go, if the device supports 2.5GB that's what you get.

running extremely hot you cannot touch, starts to run very slow after just a few minutes will be sending back for refund

I bought 2 of these for my home network where I only need 2.5Gbe. They just work. No ifs and buts. Just plug them in, connect your devices and they all talk to each other seamlessly. I have used the 2 SFP+ ports to create a 10Bge uplink and they work straight out of the box.

Prefiero cable allí donde se pueda y WiFi donde no, por lo que lo he usado este conmutador para cablear todas las tomas del piso a 2.5GbE desde una conexión a internet de Fibra 10G PRO Digi. Y es una auténtica gozada poder obtener caudal de 2.5GbE en los PCs modernos con esa velocidad. Para el MiniPC nuevo que incluye 2x2.5GbE le puse también un adaptador de USB4 a ethernet 10GbE y así desde él puedo usar todo el caudal de internet. Para el MacBook (que no lleva toma de red) le puse un adaptador de USB a Ethernet 2.5GbE y listos. Los dispositivos de 1GbE no sacan partido, pero las rosetas ya están preparadas para 2.5GbE. Como tengo todo cableado por RJ45 también tuve que comprar un pack de 2 SFP+ de 10GbE para convertir sus 2 tomas en RJ45 y ahí conectar el router de Digi y en el otro el adaptador USB4 de ethernet 10GbE para el MiniPC. De momento funciona muy bien y ciertamente a un precio muy comedido.

J’ai acheté ce switch pour mettre en place mon réseau entre mon NAS et mon PC en 10 Gb, et il fait exactement ce qu’il faut, sans complication. Les 4 ports 2.5G Base-T sont parfaits pour les appareils classiques (PC, dock, box, AP, etc.), et les 2 ports SFP+ permettent de monter facilement un lien 10 Gb avec un module ou un DAC adapté. Le switch est non géré, mais c’est justement ce qui le rend simple : on branche, tout se synchronise automatiquement, et ça fonctionne immédiatement. Aucune configuration, aucun menu compliqué, tout est plug-and-play. Idéal pour un réseau maison ou un setup semi-pro. La stabilité est excellente : aucun drop, aucun freeze, même en charge avec des transferts très lourds entre le NAS et le PC. Les débits sont constants, et le passage du 2.5G au 10G via les ports SFP+ se fait sans souci. Pour un usage multimédia, backup, montage vidéo sur NAS ou gros transferts, c’est vraiment parfait. La construction est propre, le boîtier ne chauffe pas excessivement, et le switch reste silencieux — très appréciable dans un bureau ou à côté d’un NAS. En résumé : un excellent choix si vous voulez monter un réseau 10 Gb fiable et simple à la maison. Super rapport qualité-prix, idéal pour centraliser NAS, PC et équipements en 2.5G et 10G sans se compliquer la vie.

Installation on ne peut plus simple. J’ai remplacé mon ethernet switch vieux de 15 ans et ai multiplié mes vitesses internet en download et upload par un facteur de x3. Ma nouvelle limite sont mes points d’accès (5) à 200 M/s, ce qui me va très bien.
