I bought these as my rug in the lounge was moving about, thanks to my dog, Rudi, running about like a loon, despite having a heavy coffee table on it (the rug, not the dog, before you report me to the RSPCA) . Since sticking these things on, the rug hasn't moved an inch. I'm thinking of buying another set for under Rudi's paws.

I have to admit that after reading the reviews I was a little sceptical but overwhelmed with joy once fitted because this is a great product.I have laminate flooring in my lounge which I brightened up by buying a very large rug (4m x 2m approx). I also have a divvy dog (Staffordshire bull terrier) aptly named “Dobby” weighing in at just under 6 stone who loves to go berserk and tear around the room who was quick to discover that when playing tug she could get more grip by standing on the rug.After spending a large amount of money on the rug itself it was seconds before it ended up crumpled over the other side of the room and to keep my sanity and exhaustion after constantly shouting at the dog I purchased these grippers.I was elated when discovering they actually work. The rug is fixed in all four corners, it’s never lifted and it withstands the abuse taken by the dog which is pretty amazing.Dobby would also like to thank the manufacturers of this product, it’s given her much more grip and she’s not getting shouted at so much. She also uses the rug to sleep on rather than my nice new suite which is an added bonus.One very happy customer here.

Bought this to stop hallway rug slipping on new fitted carpet. This product is unsuitable for use on piled carpet.

I was skeptics as to whether these would work but honestly they have changed my life. Before these the rug would be all over the place. The laminate would allow it to slip from one end of the room to the other. These grips are incredibly sticky and really adhere to the underside of the carpet. Its difficult to remove them, but trust me this is a good thing, the side that stick to the floor is just as good. My worry was that once the stick floor side was dirty they would need to be replaced, this is not the case just wipe them clean with a baby wipe, let them dry and they are as good as new. These stop the rug from moving full stop. I can even hoover it without having to stand on both sides to keep it taut. With a child who is constantly running and sliding off the sofa onto the rug it has really held up well. Sadly one came off (somehow!) and the side that adheres to the rug cannot be cleaned but that corner is still holding up well with just one grip. The rug we have is also quite thin and I worried they would be noticeable through the rug however this was not the case. It’s a great product and one I would buy again

Awful. Don't buy.Due to the ultra flat surface it did not stick to our rugs underside at all. Stuck to the floor easily but due to the type of glue it was almost impossible to get them up off the wood floor. Tore up the wax. Awful all round

stuck well to laminate flooring, utterly useless for sticking to the rugs! inside 24 hours they'd detached, become covered in fluff and of no use whatsoever. and then left marks on the laminate flooring when removed as well. certainly won't be buying again.

These are perfect for me. I used in combination with DIY Doctor 2X Gripper Rolls, 11,600 cm² , Ultimate Extra Thick 400gsm (Formerly Medipaq) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00RN1IS3K/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_IGCsEb39HC004. I didn't believe the latter would work on its own. I was unsure if these would have the strength on their own either, hence the combo. I have put on two hallway runners and so far (1 day) I'm delighted with them. My floor is wooden and my runners were slipping regularly and it was a potential hazard, particularly with a 5 yr old boy. I note the poor comments and will monitor and see if they remain sticking to underside of rug in a months time. I also note the comments about not being effective on a carpet (as opposed to hard floor). The vendor never says they will work on carpet so buyers need to read the info properly!Update as at 24.05.21. Just ordered another set 15 months after first purchase and application. They have worked really well. In the most used areas they finally came loose (after 15 months). They came loose from the carpet, not the floor. Dust/dirt had finally taken it's toll. It allowed me to test unsticking from the wooden floor. I was worried they might mark the floor and/or be difficult to remove, perhaps leaving a sticky residue. I need not have worried. They came away well without any residual issues or hassle. I have replaced with my existing supply and reordered more to cover the parts I didn't have enough spares for.These are brilliant. Work outstandingly well and I fully endorse them. 5 big stars!

Bought 2 sets of these to stick down my rug in my hallway and the rug in my living room both to wooden flooring. My dogs make both rugs go flying as soon as the doorbells goes. These started off great but over time just lost the stick. I removed them and as stated says you can wash them and they will work again. But my rugs are Egyptian and somehow the fibers of the rugs are bedded into the pad. No matter how I washed it, it’s stuck covered in fibers, in the end both sets gone straight in the bin
