Easy to set up. Good so far
So, I have felt hesitant to write a review too soon for this turntable. But with as much as I've played it in the last few days, it seem inconceivable that this one is a dud.Other than that this turntable is easy to set up, sounds pretty decent, and is all around a worry free experience with my vinyl.I like that the tone arm is setup up factory. Granted, I have only a few options to settle on for the needle, but I've settled with the green needle that doesnt break the bank. It sounds well enough that an equalizer can smooth it out. I do use an equalizer between the turntable/preamp and my powered speakers. It sounds wonderful! This turntable has a raw sound just with the turntable with no equalizer. Its still appealing with a great deal of warmth, but im just a snob is all. There's been no clipping, no skipping, and no errors from the automatic queuing of the tone arm. It really has been worry free. Set the record on the platter, push the start, button and then close the dust cover. If you would like to smooth out your vinyl sound between the preamp and the powered speakers/receiver, you can purchase a Behringer MiniFBQ FBQ800 equalizer from music stores or at that one site that starts with an E. They're pretty cheap, and will be a far more cheaper option than playing guessing games with pricier phono preamps. Just Google it.

The Turntable We Seek ⭐
Audio Technica AT - LP70X Turntable is a really nice one!It was easy to put together in assembly that is the platter and the belt around the brass head motor. This phono graph is really worth it as it runs smoothly too and I like the part that lifts off the tonearm off the record near the base. I also like the start button - one push and your set for one side of the LP! I use the phono line w/ground to my receiver. It doesn't have Bluetooth Capabilities in it.The player 'built in amp' needs a sincere boost, I have turn up my receiver near the mark of 35 to have decent sound from the turntable. The player works great as far with the 33-1/3 rd speed so far. The cover sits really nice on the player. The like the bronze tone color. There's a switch on the back with two nice RCA jacks with the AC Adapter connector too that adapter is included with the product.Right now I am playing my turntable and trying to decipher which is better LP or CD audio output?! The player runs nice a quiet with no rumble so far. It's a very nice player. I am not disappointed! It is recommended.

PROBLEMATIC!
There seems to be a big problem with this turntable. I've seen many comments on different forums from others having the same problem. There is constant skipping and jumping when I try to play an album. I assume there is a tonearm pressure/weight issue but it is not adjustable so looks like AT has a big dud here. I purchased an elliptical stylus to see if it would help, it did not. I only played it a few times before I realized it was the product that was at fault, and I was just past my window to return on Amazon. Audio Technica will do nothing more than have you pay shipping to send it back to them and look at it. I'm pretty sure they've had more than one complaint and they are not addressing the issue. They should take this back, period! Very unhappy with their customer service, or lack of. Would not recommend or buy another AT product. ***I have had this about 2 months. Played it about 4 times.

A very nice turntable for the price.
I'm very satisfied with this player so far, but reading the other reviews, I'm a little nervous. For me, great sound, smooth, sleek appearance, simple, straight forward operation, a pro item for the money. As of this moment, I would highly recommend. So much better than the little suitcase players that flooded the market

Adequate for Beginners
It's adequate. If you are on a budget or just want to get a taste for vinyl, this will do. It feels cheaply made. The plinth is hollow. Everything is a light plastic. It's super easy to set up and use and is probably great for beginners. I was a beginner but the stock stylus is not much, if any, better than streaming. The lack of counterweight became noticeable to me, someone who didn't know why that's even necessary. I upgraded quickly to a Fluance. The quality improvement is instantly recognizable.
