Replaced my sticks on dual sense controller, works like a charm after calibrating using an online tool. Previously I bought regular sticks which didn't work well so decided to give these hall effect ones a shot and didn't get disappointed. Arguably works better than my other controllers but idk

--Update: I couldn't initiate a return on this, but after I posted the review, the seller reached out and offered to send a replacement, I assumed of just the faulty stick, but they sent a whole new kit at no cost! Updated the rating accordingly. Sticks were as advertised, however one of the four was faulty and the 'R3/L3' button was defective. I didn't notice until after it was installed, so you definitely want to check that before install. The controller that got the two good sticks was fully restored. Probably just a bad luck pull, but definitely do what you can to check the sticks before installing. (Note: the stick worked and calibrated other than the button function)

Wasn't easy to install but when installed i haven't had any problems with them.

My son told me what to get and said it worked great for the broken remote.

So I has stick drift with my analog joysticks and gave these one a chance to see how they did. After I replaced them, I came across a web site which you can calibrate your joysticks and do a re-center of them. I did not test my controllers before the replacement, so I have no idea what condition they where in. So the re-centering works well here, which is seen in one photo. But these new Hall Effect joystick would not calibrate out the circularity. I read this should be 6% or less, as you can see, I have 14.39% and 12.98%. One of my other used analog joysticks are just over 6%. So far, these being out of circularity have not been noticed in game use. UPDATE, 1/15/25, ON 2ND SET INSTALLED: My first pair, review above, was on a controller with the BDM-040 board, still working fine. I installed my 2nd pair on a controller and online testing a calibration went fine. Everything showed great. But in actual game use, the left stick would drift left REALLY bad. Checked online again, still fine. My board is a BDM-030 in this controller. I replaced the left joysticks again, then the right one that was working now drifts everywhere. Replaced both joy sticks again the the right goes crazy in the game. So, I would say DO NOT buy these if you have a BDM-030 board in your controller. All online testing and calibrations shows good always for all the sticks I replaced. Does not work in the real world.

They worked. Tooke some time to figure out but got it going!

The kit looked in very good condition, except for the the prying tool, which was missing. As a result I haven't actually tried it out yet.

The package included four joysticks. I first soldered two of them to a PS5 controller. During testing, I noticed that one of them was faulty. I removed the faulty one and tested a third joystick, which worked fine. One joystick remains untested. The faulty unit caused some extra work, so I recommend testing all parts individually before installation.
