After having sticker shock visiting furniture stores around we decided to take a chance on this bed as it was 1/3 the cost of the ones we looked at, nervous as it had no reviews on it. My spouse did not have high hopes as we opened the packages, but once fully assembled the bed looks great and is much more sturdy than we imagined. Held up great without any movement or squeaks during adult time. Now it absolutely isn't the quality of the Ashley furniture, but is definitely more sturdy than the beds we saw at stores for more than double the price. It did take a few hours to assemble. And the drawers are smaller than I had hoped, but for the price we are very happy with this bed. Shipped quicker than expected too. Beautiful bed at a wallet friendly price.

The bed looks really nice and is fairly high quality material and design. No cheap looking exposed screws and stuff like that. It's solid and matches our IKEA king mattress perfectly. There's a few not so great things like the storage drawers arent perfectly flush and the corners of the foot of bed are very hazardous to legs and knees. I bought some black foam corner protectors and problem solved and you can't really notice. The biggest surprise about this bed though has been that it has greatly improved the comfort of our mattress. Our previous box frame was just a lot of rigid and flat wood slats and our bed was much firmer as a result. While it wasn't an issue because my wife and I don't mind firm beds, we really didn't realize how much more comfortable the mattress could be. Because it has spring like flexible slats it really provides additional cushion and support. We really didn't realize it would help that so much. That alone is worth what we paid on prime day special.

This bed is everything we hoped it would be! The quality can't be beat for the cost and it's very sturdy! So far we love it! I've seen a lot of reviews saying that their beds were damaged and not good quality. I do not agree. Or maybe we got lucky. I gave 4 stars vs 5 because the assembly was NOT easy! I actually have a guy who I hire when I need big furniture put together. This guy used to assemble furniture for a living! He knows what he's doing! It took him a good 6-7hrs to assemble this bed (king size). He said the directions were horrible....and backwards! But other than that, the bed is awesome!

Assembly was very time consuming which was expected based off other reviews. However, the quality of the bed is awful. We’ve had the bed less than a month and it’s already cracked up in places. I don’t foresee this bed lasting long.

This bed is absolutely perfect for us. It’s farmhouse without being too farmhousey / Cracker Barrel / shabby chic looking. The black color is a nice touch to the off-white / ecru color. The finishes are a little fragile/soft so this bed frame would be best in a guest room or main bedroom. It took forever to put together but it’s user error mostly. Definitely needs two people. Bought this and got the matching dressers and night stands. The drawers do require patience to put together as the slide rails and screws that secure them must be flush. Otherwise, the drawers will catch every once in a while. They’re best used for sheet sets or delicates like underwear or lingerie. It’s sturdy and can handle the weight of two adults and dog. My dog likes to hide under the bed even though he hardly fits.

Couldn't be better for this price. Don't expect hardwood and dovetails. This is really well made cheap furniture. Delivery was fast and worth the additional charge. 2 boxes weighing approx. 100 lbs each were delivered by FedEx 3 days after purchase, not 2 weeks at originally indicated by Amazon. All parts were easily identifiable and clearly labeled by letter and number. All hardware came with extras which weren't needed but nice to get more than needed rather than missing parts. The assembly instructions were straight forward and included zoomed in images which help clarify questionable steps. All of the pieces were in perfect condition thanks to strategic packaging. It took just about 8 hours with some random short breaks to complete the build for a king bed. 2 people are needed for several steps if not the entire project.

The bed is good looking. I'm overall happy with the general appearance. I gave it 3 stars because the assembly was brutal! it tooks hours and hours to assemble. Some parts that are supposed to come together had opposing dowels. The black top piece of the headboard dowels didn't align with the holes on the other side. Some of the holes they cut for the locking nuts were too deep and you have to rig the nut to catch the bolt. The drawers are assembled identically, but you have to figure out what order to put them in, or they don't align. In the end I got it done, but it was tough and annoying.

Love this bed. I build it all by myself. Took me around 2 hours with breaks in between. Very study. The only thing I dislike is the rails in the middle of each side I’ve hit my toes several times. Other than that it’s a beautiful bed no squeaky noise.
