Q: Can someone please tell me the exact measurement in "inches" of these computer speakers? Are they as good as the BOSE Companion 2 Series II speakers?

These are 2 different type of speakers ,to me I like Akams Razor (simplest is best) the Edifiers sound good and with a 4 inch bass and tweeter with a port will be larger maybe 10 inches tall and 6 inches wide and 6 deep (Im guessing) the Bose also sound very good if you are like me and cant afford any more than $100 . Bose sound very good use up less room and use more electronics to get their sound ,they are smaller if room is a problem . both sound very good for the price ,I want to save $30 so Im getting the Edifier the Bose will go back but I would be happy with either check out the Edifiers $99 self powered speakers

Q: It says "computer speaker" does that mean it works with a laptop? does it mean on one of the two speakers works with the pc? confusing...

Hello Robert,Yes you can use this system with a laptop. In fact, these speakers can work with any source that has a RCA or AUX connection. It's a powered speaker system with built-in amplifier. One of the speaker serves as the main speaker. The other speaker connects to the main speaker for power and audio.

Q: how long are the red and black wires connecting the speakers

6' to 8'. It's regular speaker wire with tinned ends. Easy enough to replace/extend if you need a longer distance.
