Update- This alarm just saved my home. I had accidentally kicked a dog pillow against fireplace window- left to go upstairs. 15 min later I heard beeping, could not figure out what it was so went room to room, eventually going downstairs where I was met with wall of smoke— the pillow had caught fire. I was able to turn fireplace off, grab pillow and put it outside on concrete, extinguish the fire. It took nearly 30 min to air out basement— but I was able to because the alarm alerted me to the smoke. I dont come downstairs usually until later in day, so there’s no way I would have known about the fire without the alarm. I had hoped to never need to see if this worked, but I did, and it worked!!It has the screws, wall anchors, and batteries. Everything you need to get it up and going, I was appreciative of that because I never seen to have the anchors I need for these types of things. They were a breeze to install. To set up monitoring via phone, a QR code for Apple and Android is conveniently located on box and the app is user friendly. Tested the detector with button and it's loud! I'm so happy I bought this package with three, I initially bought because the price was good. I feel much safer now with two in the basement (fireplace down there) and one in my kitchen.

I bought two packs thinking these would be great so I know if theres an issue in any room. They randomly go off and don't even register correctly with the app. So you have random beeping without even knowing which one it is as the app doesn't register correctly. At first I thought it was only 1 and threw it out as I thought only 1 was defective but slowly others do it as well. Cannot recommend and feel this product is dangerous as it doesn't operate as intended, to warn of potential fire/smoke.

At first I absolutely loved these and had zero issues for the entire first month of use. But all of a sudden, the alarms started giving me false fire alarm alerts after only having them installed for a month. The batteries are still at 100%, so that is not the issue. This is for a vacation home, not a primary residence, so this is a huge problem for me that they stopped working the way they're supposed to. I will need to find another brand that works.

I always was paranoid that i might leave my gas on or did I forget to remove coffee pot or my house is on fire and i will never know until i come back.After i found this product on amazon i feel much relived compared to the old smoke detectors that ring the siren. If no one is home then they are of no use. Its 2024 and I need something modern.These 3 peices are very easy to setup and connects to wifis smoothly. I get notifications on my phone if there is smoke from cooking in the kitchen. After doing the smart lights, vacuum cleaner , faucets and fireplace, why not the smoke detectors. I think this is a must have for the safety for your home.

First of all, it’s a bit ridiculous how we have to pay extra money just to be notified of a fire, like that isn’t the whole point of this product - but whatever. Second of all, I was cooking something in my home and it produced a lot of smoke and although the alarm did go off, I didn’t get ANY sort of notification on my phone. It actually doesn’t even show in the alarm history! I now no longer feel like this is worth giving me peace of mind when I’m out of the house because what’s even the point if it doesn’t TELL ME if there’s potentially a fire?! I’m annoyed that I only found this out after the return period ended. I don’t recommend this alarm.

I got three smoke detectors, each packaged with a 9V battery, mounting hardware, and double-sided stickers for drill-free installation. But since I don’t have a flat ceiling, I used the provided screws. Before mounting them, I added the smoke detectors to the Smart Life app, which I already had installed from the Google Play Store. They are also compatible with the Tuya app, but only work on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. But my router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, so I had no issues pairing them.To connect, I held the test button on each detector for 5 seconds, and within 5 minutes, I had all three added to the app. I tested each unit, and the alarms emitted a loud, clear sound. Through the app, I could go over the last event (e.g., my test, with time and date), the current carbon monoxide (CO) level in ppm, and the current battery status. Seeing the battery status helps me know when to replace it, but I haven’t confirmed yet whether the app sends automatic low-battery alerts.The detectors are connected to the app for remote notifications, so I’ll be instantly alerted if any unit detects smoke or dangerous CO levels. Remote monitoring was the main reason I chose them.
