Ruger 10/22 Receiver Stock Takedown Cap Screw

Worked great

Finally put one of these on my built 10/22. Much better fit and look than the factory slotted screw that will get bunged up after a few takedowns. It actually seems to have free-floated my heavy barrel. (Midway 18" stainless HB on a Fajen stock) If you own a 10/22 this is a must have part. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with a matching stainless allen key to fit.

Has a hex head...not the orginal flat head screw...solid construction. Seema to work well, came a little dirty with milling debris

I had bought some bolts that could be screwed into a 10/22 by hand, but I used a Magpul Backpacker X22 stock on it. The larger heads are great for tightening them by hand, but the one in the forend got in the way when putting the barrel into the cutout in the butt stock. This screw had the shortest shipping time when I needed one, so I bought it. I would have preferred black, but the screw works fine.

This screw fit perfectly & was easy to install & tighten using the included allen wrench. The stainless steel means I won’t have to worry about corrosion.

Wanted to replace the take down screw on my 1982 Ruger 10/22 with a better option. I plan to do some upgrades and wanted a better option over the stock screw. Very happy with the purchase.
