Klein had great tools. This works great and it is was cheaper than other vendors.

Good kit. Crimping tool uses a hex pattern, which results in a more secure crimp and a rounder profile than the cheaper four surface crimpers. This can help with fitting the ferrules into terminals. The bag and ferrule storage box are high quality and don't feel flimsy like the cheaper options, and the kit comes with a good amount of ferrules, although they are all one length so you will need to supplement it if you need longer or shorter ones. Overall, its a good quality compact kit to keep in the toolbox for field work.

Have been using ferrules for decades. "In the beginning" there was a tool made by Phoenix that cost $100+ and made a trapezoidal crimp. It is a good tool and still works, but like many crimpers you need to place the ferrule in the correct cavity -- which is sort of a pain. This Klein hex pattern crimper does not have that challenge -- it makes excellent crimps -- and is in my view terrifically priced.

When I was looking for a ferrule crimper I could either pay $10-$15 for a cheap one which would be lacking overall in quality or a $300-$500 one that performed well but left a hole in my pocket. Thanks Klein! Great crimper that makes perfect crimps of all of the wire ends I’ve tried. Super easy to use and has that ratchet function you look for as well as fitting well in your hands so they don’t get strained. They don’t look cheap either, and have that Klein name to stand behind.

This a nice tool to have. I ended up using this tool to do a wire project for an audio system in my vehicle.

Works as intended but there’s a screw that’s meant to adjust crimping strength and it’s impossible to turn.

Excellent item works great, crimps are nice and tight even if the wrong ferrule is used it still crimps down tight. Needs to have better instructions for those people who don’t know exactly how to use the tool or are unaware of how it should be used.

Anteriormente compre la version "barata" en amazon, pero no se compara para nada la calidad de crimpado de esta klein contra la generica. Mi recomendacion, inviertan solo una vez en una buena herramienta. Para usuarios semipro, esta esta genial, si ya eres electrico de carrerra, hay marcas como kipex, mucho mas finas pero mas caras.

High quality. And it crimps the ferrule with excellent finishing.

Great for crimping. Works well. You can feel the quality of this tool.
