Recommended I love them
I have purchased 3 of these in the past two weeks. I am new to this and still learning.I wanted to purchase a larger one like Gardyn or Rise Garden but I did not want to pay the prices or for the memberships. A lot of them got pricey very quickly and the membership cost is ridiculous. So I stuck with this company for that reason and I am happy so far.Pros:Size is fine for what I am using it for.Pump seems to be goodWater flow seems to be good.Appearance is over all fine just wish they offered more color choices.Plant health so far so goodFunction so far so good. Does not make any noise turning off or on unless you have it set up that way.Easy to put togetherUse pitcher with plant food is way easierWe do not have a huge house. So I purchased a cart from Menards and placed the units on it. Cart will make it easier to move from the living area to the sunporch when it gets warmer outside.Price for this project was around $250. That includes seeds, extra kit with sponges, holders, stickers etc, cart, 3 LetPot units which is way cheaper than the Gardyn or Rise Gardens. This way I can plant what I want rather than buying pods and spending more money.ConsThe app has its moments. I purchased this 1st unit and received my next two units yesterday. I wanted to just add plants on the app within same unit and take a few off and it made me just delete the whole thing and start over. That was frustrating. I did learn once you start another unit on the app trust me delete the old one and start from the beginning way easier.App I don’t like how it doesn’t list more herbs, vegs, fruits etc. you have to add them manually and it sucks. So get google ready you will need it.Over all I love them. Basically it’s easy to use. I like the sponges rather than dirt or clay in my opinion there is no mess.I highly recommend this productAmazon delivery on the hand was horrible. I received a big box with other two units yesterday. Delivery guy puts box on the ground and then kicks the box into the window well. I caught it on security camera. Which broke one of the units all together. I contacted Amazon after opening the unit that was broke and they are sending a replacement. Should be here today we will see.

LetPot is amazing!
I have really loved these, I bought 4 units from LetPot, because I wanted to have the convenience of being able to control all of them directly from one app, as well as having the support poles for plants that needed it, and oh boy am I glad I did, the app is so useful, gives you the PH and EC levels you need for each stage of growth for each plant, everything has just worked out so well, it is obvious they put a lot of thought into the design of the product. It was quite easy to put together, the only downside was mixing the ingredients took a while for them to dissolve in the water, but it's not a big deal, just a nitpick. And it is very nice that the tanks have such a large capacity and the pumps are so silent! It really is incredible just how quiet they are! I have very much enjoyed these units, and am so glad I chose LetPot over any other brand. After looking at other options on Amazon it was clear nobody else was doing what LetPot was doing, and now that I have the units and my plants are growing like crazy it is more obvious than ever that, that is the case!

LetPot LPH-Air: Baby Bok Choy SUCCESS!
For the record, I got my unit on an excellent lightning deal, plus I used cash-back from a credit card in order to pay only $38.20. I am an experienced Aerogarden user since 2008, so this is NOT my first hydroponics experience. It IS, however, my first LetPot unit and my first non-Aerogarden unit. And I'm PLEASED!The LetPot LPH-Air was ordered on February 8, 2025 and arrived quickly. I planted five pods seeded with baby bok choy (variety Suzhou Baby) on February 16. Today, 43 days later, I harvested four of the five plants. I could have and probably should have, harvested a few days earlier, but I was too busy. The plants were ready. The grow was completely successful, the plants were beautiful and flavorful. You might wonder why 4 stars then?First, there is a significant error in the description for this unit both here and on the LetPot website. They show that the LED light hood raises 17 inches above the grow deck. It does not. The actual distance is 12.75 inches. Which is fine for most herbs and greens, and is better than an Aerogarden Harvest model (11 inches). In my case, I knew about this *before* buying, but LetPot needs to correct their photos and description so that those planning to grow plants that need extra height don't get the wrong model.Second, the pump is oddly located at the far left of the reservoir bowl. I had a lot of concern about plants on the right hand side getting enough aeration to the roots, especially since the pump seems small and a bit weak. As it turned out, everything grew well, but my first grow was short term. I'd worry more about this for a long-term grow where root rot can be an issue. Though all went well for this short grow, a more centered location and/or stronger bubbling would be desirable.Third, the 3 filter sponges surrounding the pump don't look sturdy, and may be tricky to find replacements for. It just seems odd not to use a filter just for the front of the pump and make a pump enclosure that fit the pump better, rather than stuffing extra, unnecessary filter in to fill space. I prefer the Aerogarden filter/pump scheme.Fourth, lots of unnecessary holes in the grow deck. If not covered, you could get algae before the plants are grown enough to shade the deck. The holes are there for support sticks and plant tags, which I wouldn't bother with, as they'll just get in the way. Support sticks are mostly a joke in a system where the light hood only goes to 12.75 inches. I've never needed a trellis or support for ANY plants in that height range. Put a fan on your plants, they'll grow sturdy on their own without any support sticks! An actual trellis system like the LetPot SE has would be better.Fifth, water fill opening is very small and on the side, which makes it awkward to use. I lifted a spacer cap and watered from the front like I would with an Aerogarden.DON'T be discouraged by the above niggles. The unit definitely deserves the 4 stars I've given based on this first grow.A big PLUS is the app. I found it very easy to get my garden connected, and the garden is DOWNSTAIRS in a basement, whereas my WiFi router is UPSTAIRS. The connection was SOLID throughout the grow. I like that it's easy to make gardening notes in the app. I would, however, like to see a nutrient feeding schedule (plus notification reminders) incorporated into the app. It's been great to have some smart features and WiFi connection on a garden of this price!Another plus is that LetPot sells replacement pumps AND light hoods on their website, along with other supplies. As those are the main elements that may fail over time, it's excellent that they do.The garden uses STANDARD size grow baskets and sponges that you can get all over the place. SWEET! However, the grow basket fit in the grow deck will not be as secure or snug as with an Aerogarden, so when you change out water, handle your grow deck carefully!I also LIKE the spacing on this 10-pod unit. And the unit does come with some spacers (white), the black ones in my photos are from a different unit. You can potentially plant every pod if growing lettuce or herbs, but if you don't, there's enough room for a crop of 5 plants like bok choy that need a bit more space. I'm a big fan of giving plants a bit of space in these units, so I pay a lot of attention to grow deck arrangement before choosing a garden. In conclusion, I'm pleased with my purchase. Enough so that I've picked up a couple LetPot SE units on eBay to try out.The first picture is at 27 days growth. The second is a 43-day-old plant, harvested. Third, a mature, 43-day-old plant still in the garden (not for long!) and fourth, the cooked up greens! (Along with a bit of Aerogarden kale and cherry tomatoes....)
