►Previously i used 50 gpd ro membrane for my ro water filter system, can be used with 75gpd now? Yes, it can . But we suggest don't use it like that, because if 75gpd RO membrane loaded into the 50gpd water system, the membrane flux increases resulting in reduced operating pressure and the flow will less than 75gpd. ►I don't know what brand my ro system is,can I use this ro membrane? Please don't worry,the ro membrane is universal membrane,and its lenth is 10inch, width is 1.8inch. This ro membrane fits all standard 10 inch ro systems.If your ro system is 10inch ,you can use it perfectly. ►Will it affact the function if there is gap between RO membrane seal ring and the housing? the membrane must be installed in the right direction and the o ring should seal against housing so the water passes through it not around it. If water passes around it it will not be filtered. ►It is convenient to install the reverse osmosis filter. ►You can follow these steps: ►Step1: Turn off caold water valve, turn on both drinking and kitchen faucets to release remaining water and pressure. ►Step2: Get a towal or bucket to catch water. Replace the cartridge as shown above.Make sure that cartridge is centered and in correct direction, O-ring is in track, and do not tighthen. ►Step3: Remove the inlet water tubing from RO membrane housing, turn on cold water valve to flush the new cartridges. ►Step4: Flush for 10 minutes or until no fine particle or carbon dust, reinstall the tubing for RO. ►Step5: Turn on cold water valve and drinking faucet to ensure RO water flows as usual.
