I may sound overly excited about these plug retainers, but I live in an RV that has plugs installed under my kitchen cabinets, under the overhead cabinets over my bed, and one on the ceiling in my bedroom. When you plug stuff in, gravity wants to do its job and not hold the plug, especially if it's a little heavy. It's always been a safety concern for me. I'm so happy with these retainers because I can put my worries to rest now.They are made of a soft type of rubber or silicone that slips firmly over the two blades, with a flat tab that helps install or remove the cover.They are tight-fitting and take a little coaxing but relatively easy. When you plug in the cord with it installed, you can feel a big difference in how firmly it now plugs in.I've been in the habit of checking these upside-down plugs and will probably still do so until I get used to the fact that my plugs are now firm and stable without any safety concerns.Only $6.59 for 13 of them is a small price to pay for peace of mind and safety. I wish I'd known about them sooner.

These don't fit on any of the plugs on the stuff I have. Going to try and return I guess.

It took a while to figure it out but, once I did, itincredibly well.

I was a little skeptical about these, but they work. They take a bit of finagling to get on, but they do a good job of keeping a plug in an outlet. These don't work for polarized plugs; where one prong is wider than the other. For regular plugs, it works just fine. They won't stop a plug from falling out if knocked, but it will keep it plugged in instead of falling out at a glance.

I have so many outlets where my plugs fall out. It is so frustrating. These provide the additional support and have really made a difference. They are a little tricky to put on, but other than that it’s a great item. The value for such an easy problem solver, is great.

These are so tiny that at first I thought the mailing envelope they came in was empty. They don't come with any instructions, so you're on your own figuring out what to do with them.My first attempt was unsuccessful: wrestled them onto the plug's two regular prongs, eventually concluded that the third, tab-shaped piece *wasn't* supposed to fit over the grounding prong, after all but couldn't figure out what it *was* for, then tried and tried to push the plug far enough into the outlet to get power to my appliance but couldn't.I almost gave up at that point, but decided to try reversing the direction the tab was pointing in relation to the plug. That entailed wrestling the doohickey off the plug's prongs before re-wrestling it back on after flipping it around so the TAB was POINTING AWAY from the plug. Sore fingers and some grunting later, ta-da! Problem solved: the formerly unusable lower half of my wonky old outlet can now hold a plug securely again.Update: Drat! Two days later the connection between the doctored plug and the wonky outlet was once again too loose to use. So I'm dropping my rating from 4 stars to 3.2nd update: Now, another day later, we're down to 1 star and I'm going to throw these out. After further attempts to find a way to get these to work--both in the original loose outlet for which I ordered them and in another such, and both singly and stacked one atop another on the plugs' prongs--I give up. One of them tore already, so not only do they fail to do anything at all to fix the problem they're designed to fix, they're not even durable.

they work i have an old house and have a lot of loose 2 pronged outlets and this has done a good job about making them hold the plug even better and make them a tighter fit.

Easy to put on & use. Does reduce how loose the plug fits into the socket. Reusable. Does not interfere with the electrical connection. Overall good.Would buy again.
