I was skeptical about the BuggyBands Mosquito Repellent Bracelets before I tried them, but I have to admit I was wrong. These things do work. It is as easy as putting them on your wrists and being mosquito free. I like that they use natural scents instead of chemicals; I am always worried what the chemical bug repellants might do to me.As I said, while wearing these, it’s almost like the mosquitos don’t exist; I can walk around outside without having to worry. However, there is one problem: the mosquito bracelets have a very strong smell. It is so strong that I can’t stand to wear one for very long. My wife, on the other hand, does not mind the smell. The smell is somewhat similar to citronella, but more noxious. Anyone considering the BuggyBands Mosquito Repellent Bracelets should keep in mind the strong scent; anyone sensitive to similar smells may not want to use the bracelets. Even though I don’t like the smell, I give these mosquito bracelets five stars because they do work and not everyone objects to the smell.

These are meant to be an easy way to protect yourself from bugs. It's much easier to put on a bracelet than spray your whole body with mosquito repellant. These do help but they are not a complete solution. These are easier to take with you since you can just throw one in a bag. I also like they were individually wrapped and different colors.

I used them and didnt get bit. I take that as a win! They smell good and are fun to use with the different colors.

I had a difficult time fastening the bracelets. I'll keep searching for similar products.

Quick, Easy, Stylish way for my to repel mosquitoes from arms, face and upper body. Brought these along on my cruise down to Mexico ports. I tossed it on in the mornings when getting off the boat and heading to my adventures on land. Didn’t have any issues with mosquitoes when out and about. No deep jungle adventures but still and woodsy areas. Has a much nicer look than the coiled ones everyone else’s wearing. And no worries about wiping my mouth after using the spray type products.

Wanted it to work, but at least with local insects I'm not really seeing a difference. Back to bug spray I guess

Why is it that some people are eaten alive by insects and others aren’t bothered at all? I have no idea but I’m in that first group. Anytime I hear someone say, “Hey, let’s go sit on the patio,” I just cringe knowing I’ll be the target of every insect and will spend the evening scratching all the bites. Sure, I could keep a can of bug spray around, and may use it for very casual occasions, but for nicer outdoor events, I’m not going to douse my skin with insect repellant. I really like having a non-chemical alternative to controlling the pests.This package includes four bands, one each in shades of red, purple, green and black. They each are packaged in a long, narrow zip bag so they can be placed back into the pouch between uses to retain the scent. I have been wearing this around my ankle when outside, and I still haven’t gotten a mosquito bite. Does this work or are the mosquitos over at the neighbor’s house? I don’t know, but as long as I’m getting good results, I’ll keep wearing them! I figure I can wear one on an ankle, and another around my wrist. These days, people wear these rubbery bands for different reasons. If I’m at an outdoor function and don’t want “Buggy Band” visible, I can flip it over and wear the solid color on the outside. Adds another layer of protection against mosquitoes. I wouldn't trust one of these alone. I used in combination with other repellents. They smell nice, but are hard to put on around the wrist. Wish they were larger. Like that they can be stored in the bags when done using.
