Punches above it's weight class
To give any credibility to my comments, I've been dabbling in this audiophile world for quite some time just out of curiosity. I've owned many headphones from the M50s, DT 770s, K550s, to the Ultrasone Edition 8s, LCD-2s, T1s, and so on, but unfortunately not many IEMs. The only relevant IEMs that I can compare these with are the Blon BL-01 and Final Audio E-3000.I'm not going to go into detail on how these sound, but I'll say these are definitely a keeper. Comfortablility, check. Looks, check. Highs, mids, and EVEN lows, check. Some say these are bass light but I prefer to call it clean, accurate, and deep. The rumble is there without the bloat. Maybe if you're a teenager to early 20s, you may prefer the SSP, but these to me are almost perfect bass. If the sub bass extension was just a little bit more forward, we'd have an end game for me. I'm not a believer in dropping hundreds of even thousands in IEMs as they'll always be secondary to me.I do like my Final E tips on these more than the stock and I've ordered an all copper cable to see if I can tame the highs a bit more. If my memory serves right, my old Shure 1840s gave me the same impression...just beautiful accurate sound. For the money though, I'm more than satisfied to listen to these when headphones aren't an option.I've done a lot of research to end up choosing these. If you like vocals and an accurate sound, look no further. It does everything else very well too. I would pass on these though if you aren't primarily using them for music (podcasts, TV, etc). 5/5 to me when you consider the price.

Really Great IEMs
These sound really good for the price, though the bass isn’t booming. Vocals and “sound-stage” overall are amazing especially for this price. The quality of these earbuds are very nice too. The IEMs themselves are pretty small, solid, and well built. The paint will slightly chip off though when handled roughly. The wire is real great and good looking while the earbuds themselves don’t necessarily need any more power (amp) to sound great though I will be considering one. These earbuds do seem like open back ones and some modifications with electrical tape can help with bass sound and quality. Vocals, highs, and mids sound pretty solid. EDM, distortion, trap, and heavy bass notes won’t have that much oomph or clarity as other IEMs will present. These ones compensate with very very clear everything else. (Screams even sound very clean.) Unbeatable at this price point.

Favorite IEM for classical film scores. Detailed, lean and bright.
First heard of this from Super* Review’s excellent YouTube channel. The SSR has become my preferred set to reach for when I’m listening to classical film scores. Strings are fantastic on these. I have the Moondrop Blessing 2, Raptgo Hook-X, Fiio FH3; and, the SSR gives me that lean, bright flavor that pairs well with classical music.Amazing technicalities by itself, not just at the price point. I would say, though, it doesn’t have the most natural tonality, but you get an elevated, detailed upper midrange/treble in return. This isn’t for bass heads. You won’t get slam or thump on this set. SSR’s bass presence is enough to give weight to the instruments that need it. You will get detailed vocals, especially female vocals, and that cleanliness that is sometimes lacking in warmer IEMs.I find the treble spiciness many have observed is real yet can be managed with lower volume levels. I also find that this set likes more power. I run it on high gain from my Fiio M11 Plus ESS DAP for good volume levels between 60-80/120 via the 3.5mm jack. The cable is great too. I ended up getting better results with Azla Sedna EarFit Light tips. Stock tips didn’t work as well for me.A great buy for any collector looking to add detailed, lean and bright to their portfolio.

People that think these have no bass are the same people that don't like the taste of water
The clearest, crispest, most accurate, and comfortable $40 I've ever spent. These punch waaaaay above their weight class. People complaining about the bass... ok, yeah the sub bass is "lacking" but anything other than the lowest lows are still present and clean. The cable is perfect, the design is perfect, fits any ear tips, super low profile, I can sleep with them. If these were $120 I would say they're a pretty good deal. So for $40 just get them. I bought a 2nd pair to paint and swap the faceplates and they look so coool! They remind me of those mini starbursts, I bet they don't taste very good though.

Nice.
I tried the SSR and SSP back to back, using an assortment of tips and genres of music. I did the "tape over the vents" mod and I'm keeping the SSP. Super tight and accurate, very responsive to eq and the tape mod brings CRAZY sub bass.Pros: size, fit (seriously, these are the best fitting Chi fi IEMs I've ever tried), accuracy, speed, price.Cons: sound stage could be a little wider, cable could be nicer, blah blah blah they're $40 just get them, they're awesome.

Great for the price range, for those used to reference headphones
For 40 bucks, these measure & sound pretty great. Nothing felt cheap. Easy to use on every device and doesn't necessarily require an amplifier, though having a decent phone DAC would be recommended. For the value it's amazing, it's ok comfort wise, and I found myself comparing these to expensive TWS like the Airpod Pro's, and other headphones & iems. I feel like there is a proper amount of bass, but compared to something like the Pro's it's weak. It reminds me a lot of the HD600's extension, but lacking. But those are 400$ headphones and these are 40$. So, honestly 5/5 for the value alone.

They broke after 3 months.
These are great earbuds but they literally broke after 3 months. They fit in my ear great, sound quality was great but they just snapped off (ignore the blue cord I dyed my hair and it turned everything blue) I am really sad they broke because they are super good head phones and comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Pretty good but fairly poor for bass
Thought this would go well with playing bass guitar, but the bass is so quiet compared to my other earbuds.

Good but probably not as competitive as they once were
I bought these just to us3 the cable with my Moondrop Blessing 2 earphones. It's a great cable! The SSR are actually tuned to my preference - not much bass but otherwise very good. Anybody preferring a greater bass quantity will hate these earphones.I think for ~€50 there is solid competition from other competitors and I'm not sure that the SSR remains excellent value in the current market. The accessories are minimal and I could only recommend these to somebody who likes Moondrop's sound target and wants a lightweight IEM that is easy to sleep while wearing them.If you can stretch the budget a little and like the Moondrop sound target, then the Aria or the Starfield are a better purchase.

You should not buy these.
They arrived today, they were a severe disappointment. I see from other reviews that they have stopped distribution because of quality control concerns. Just as I have seen other reviews which call the sound they produce a disaster. I wouldn't got that far. You can get them to sound reasonably OK, with decent tips and better cable, and a decent amp/DAC. However at 40 Euro they're in the "cheap" end, so most people are not going to spend the 130 Euro required to get a passable sound. The real problem for these are threefold. The Blon bl03 (32 Euro) and the CJV CSA/MQUPIN (30 Euro) at one end and the Urbanfun YBF (64 Euro) at the top end. I own all three. I'll be sending the SSR back. Thank God I bought from Amazon.
