Great cleaner
Works really well. Can take some time to heat up, but that's based on the temperature of the liquid you've added and the quantity. Perhaps the heating element could be a bit more powerful, but it suits my needs, especially at this price point.

Great price, works amazing
I like this unit. Big enough for good sized parts. Comes with a small part screen cage to put your tiny pieces in. Does an amazing job. Does need to heat up before you run the vibration cycle, but does get there. May take over an hour to heat up your solution, but works great and since most ultrasonic cleaners don't even have the heat, it is just an added benefit. Price is great for this

Pretty great, but I wish I had gone bigger.
Get at least one size bigger than what you think you will need. I bought a 6 liter machine for cleaning bike parts, but it is not big enough. When I clean mountain bike cassettes with very large gears, only a bout 3/4ths of it will be submerged. I'm also pretty sure 6 liters would overflow the tank. For actual use, you can put about 4 liters of liquid in it and still have room for a few parts. If you are cleaning small items, I recommend filling the tank with straight water and putting your part in a sealed glass jar with degreaser. It works really well, my only complaint is the drain hose. The plastic barb leaks and the flimsy hose kinks. I will replace it with a brass barb and a short piece of automotive heater hose. The buzzing noise is not nearly as annoying as I thought it would be, I am capable of tuning it out.

Very good for stripping miniature models
This is specifically for the "2L" model.First the not so good. The basin does not hold 2 liters, it holds approximately 40 ounces. The stock images on the listing shows this model as having a drain valve, it does not. The lack of drain valve was not a deal breaker for me.On to the good, the unit works well at ultrasonic cleaning. The heater gets hot, but remember there are separate on/off switches for the heater and the ultrasonic cleaner. If you need things very hot, try warming the liquid in a microwave safe container then pouring it into the ultrasonic cleaner. So far I've cleaned jewelry, multitools and some Warhammer 40K minis. The pictures attached shows the progression of stripping the model. First with water in the cleaner, then with Simple Green in the the cleaner, then isopropyl alcohol but not in the cleaner. Water didn't do too much by itself. But with simple green it worked pretty well. There was not too much more for the alcohol to work on after the simple green. The next time I use the machine to strip a miniature, I'll just go straight to simple green and be done.

Do NOT Purchase This Garbage Unit
Would rate 0 stars if I could. This 6L unit is garbage. First, the unit arrived used -- missing most of the protective plastic wrap, covered in greasy fingerprints and smudges, and still having water in the plumbing of the unit from the previous purchaser. The unit is cheap, thin metal, assembled in a poor fashion, with loud controls and operation. The unit either was malfunctioning (bad build quality) or does not function as expected for an ultrasonic cleaner (bad design quality). I have used a few ultrasonic machines previously and this unit is weak and does not clean well. It's shameful Amazon has declined so badly over the years and allows garbage vendors like this on its site. Returned for a full refund, not for Amazon credit, and will find a better unit on another site.

Effective and well-built Ultrasonic Cleaner
I am using this to clean rocks and agates that I am cutting. It does a great job in removing packed-in grit and mud. It also does a good job cleaning the fine-sized dust and grit when I am done cutting rocks. The machine seems well-built. Thanks!

The 6L is overstated capacity but big enough
I bought this 6L capacity cleaner because I had a 3L before and it really wasn't big enough for anything but small very carburetors. The 6L can accommodate decent size carbs and I mean plural because you can clean 2 or 3 at once, depending on their size. That said, I did some measurements and the tub does not match the dimensions advertised, it comes in at 12.8"x5.9" at the top and is tapered toward the bottom with depth of 5.9". However, since it is not a perfect cuboid/block, it holds only 5.5L of liquid to the very top. The recommended fill line puts the useful capacity only at 4.5L. Now as for the basket, its measurements (averaged readings from both ends of each dimensions) come in at 25cm x 11.5cm x 8.8cm (for ease of calculating) which puts its volume at 2.5L.The supplied drain hose is nicely flexible and 30.75" long and it comes with a fitting to screw into the drain (ball) valve. Silly thing: while the drain valve utilizes the standard British NPT 3/8" threads, the plastic fitting has a metric pitch of 1.25mm/thread. (see picture)Having the drain valve on the unit is very useful given its capacity but once the tub is drained, it is best to dump any remaining few milliliters by flipping the cleaner upside down because the tub bottom is not sloped toward the drain and as such does not allow all the liquid to flow out perfectly .(see picture. Word of advice: it is best not to empty the tub perfectly by shaking every drop out (with the drain valve open) because only the tub is stainless, the drain is not. And it can rust after just one use. (see picture)I like the little stainless steel ball enclosure for small items but its size (just over an inch) does not allow too many items inside, maybe 1 ring or a few short screws or carb jets. I would have preferred a bigger one but since it was a nice extra surprise (not advertised in the listing), I am not complaining. The parts cleaner is powered by a 5ft standard grounded cord. The control panel is clearly labeled, allowing for operation without having the read the user manual every time. (Though the up/down buttons are reversed, as has become the norm with Chinese designs)The control panel digits are nicely bright to read even in direct sunlight and so are the ON indicators for the heater and sonic elements, even though that the indicators are visible only from a limited angle straight ahead. Buttons have a nice and crisp feeling and the panel beeps loudly with each press. The default temperature preset is 50°C and default (longest) time for cleaning is 30 minutes. It would be nice to see maybe 60, 90 or even 99 minutes. That would eliminate the necessity to have to come back and restart the cycle for another 1/2 hour. The heating element could be a little stronger, 50W takes a very long time to heat up a full load. Specifically, a tub full of water at room temperature takes a whole 1/2-hour cleaning cycle to get up to the default preset 50°C.As far as noise levels, they aren't high. Certainly louder than the 3L cleaner I had but acceptable and not really noticeable in a work shop with tools going. I like to hear the thing buzzing anyway because at least I know it's running. When it stops, even if I miss the two loud beeps, I will notice later that there is no noise and I know the parts are done.Overall, even though the advertised capacity is above the actual capacity, this cleaner can still accommodate plenty of parts.
