Update: I’ve had 2 of this units, they quit working properly shortly after first couple uses.Batteries on semi were at 3.6 volts, tried connecting the jumper to the batteries and although it moved the engine it did not start and jumper got hot. Waited until it cool down and tried again this time connecting directly to the starter, truck started first try without any issues.

Based on price, rating, and physical size this unit should be more powerful and last longer. Compared to a much smaller 12V unit this is weak and won't last as long, pretty disappointing.Cons:Compared to the agm style 24V jump starters the only thing this unit wins on is weight, but it won't do many of the functions that the older style units could do.It won't hold a charge, you have to top it up once a week.In cold weather it's even weaker, to the point it won't start a 12V diesel pickup with weak batteries.Also the voice prompts is really annoying and unhelpful.Can't use it as a power supply for 12V or 24Pros:Light weight.The light is nice.It has 24V output and in warmer weather it will start a small 24V dozer with weak batteries.

Easy to follow instructions. Light enough for me to handle. I have used it once so far and it started my Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Diesel 4 x 4 right up. I feel so much more secure carrying this jump starter with me when I leave home.
