My oldest son is quite the watch enthusiast. He has gotten into making custom watches and really loves the hobby. He picked this item out as something he wanted for Christmas last year. I have heard no complaints (which is rare for my son) so I think he really enjoys it. He has it in his apartment and uses it on a daily basis. Nothing gets displayed in his apartment so this really must be an impressive piece.

A beautiful wall clock and love the temp. & humidity dial, BUT minus one-star as the small 6 o'clock subdial second-hand movement "quartz-clicks" so is not silent like the large sweeping second-hand. That's too bad, maybe better that dial was a barometer or other silent function. Love this clock though.

Great clock. Accurate to the second

This is a very handsome clock that would look good in an office or a den. The hands and index markers are luminous. Note however that the large hour, minute, and smooth-sweeping second hand are powered by one movement, and the small second dial at the 6:00 position is powered by a separate movement. The small dial is not smooth-sweeping, but indexes one second at a time. I ran the clock for three days before I had to reset it for California's semi-annual time change, and both movements synched very accurately. If you're O-C like me, the only way to "hack" these movements to get them into synch is to remove and then re-install the AA cell as quickly as you can at the right time. Have fun with that.

Totally impressed with this time peice . Did the hack thing mentioned by a previous reviewer. Even synced the subdial secinds to the dial hand. I believe this is the clock on the wall behind Marc of Island watch seen in his Utube videos. A great endorsement from Marc and Me. Left out a star only had it a few days. Yes, the thermometer is accurate. Buy if your a watch guy!
