Lavazza Caffe Decaffeinated Ground Coffee, Arabica and Robusta Medium Roast, 250 g (Pack of 1)

I love this coffee more than I can say. It's a lovely ritual to make it on the stove in an Italian percolator thingy (🤷). The taste is sublime, velvety with a rich aroma that evokes lazy, delicious Sunday mornings with the sunlight streaming through huge windows. Sweetened with muscavado and rich cream - heaven. A joy to find good decaf coffee that is worth the hassle.

One of the best decaf for cafetieres. Nice taste and you wouldn't think it was decaf.

Best quality decaf coffee

This is my wife’s fav coffee and getting hold of it at a reasonable price is becoming harder so I have to get it in bulk ( 8 packs) on line. Whilst a higher price than on EBay, at least I can trust Amazon to actually deliver it, unlike some experiences I’ve had where just a tracking label on an empty envelope arrives. I do not know why it’s so expensive by comparison with other coffees.

Ich war ehrlich gesagt skeptisch, ob ein entkoffeinierter Kaffee geschmacklich mit einem „normalen“ mithalten kann – aber der entkoffeinierte Kaffee von Lavazza hat mich wirklich überzeugt! Der Duft beim Öffnen der Packung ist schon ein Genuss: angenehm schokoladig, mit einer feinen, nussigen Note. Im Geschmack ist er rund, ausgewogen und erstaunlich kräftig, ohne bitter zu wirken. Besonders gefällt mir, dass er kein wässriges oder flaches Aroma hat, wie man es von manchen entkoffeinierten Sorten kennt. Ob als Espresso, Cappuccino oder einfach als klassischer Filterkaffee – der Lavazza Decaffeinato bleibt harmonisch und aromatisch. Perfekt für den späten Nachmittag oder Abend, wenn man Lust auf Kaffee hat, aber auf Koffein verzichten möchte. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Die Crema ist schön dicht und samtig, und der Nachgeschmack angenehm mild. Mein Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener entkoffeinierter Kaffee, der echtes italienisches Kaffeefeeling ohne Koffein bietet.

Overall nice decaff coffee but it is better to buy beans and freshly ground it. For convenience I bought ground already and for a good price, too, but the scent is not so fresh, so taking 1 star down. But taste is ok. I always add a bit of ground star anise in the cup, too, so it tastes nice.
