Presto 03517 Flip Belgian Waffle Maker

This is by far the best waffle maker. I had other ones that were terrible. Great price, PFAS free, so easy to clean, never sticks to the grates and cooks to perfection every single time. Small and compact too. LOVE THIS WAFFLE MAKER.

I am so pleased with this product. I have been looking for a Belgian waffle maker, but most are really using the word, "Belgian" it seems, because it sells more -- even though the depth is more that of a regular waffle. This one, though, is truly a Belgian waffle maker. It is pretty basic. I use the microwave's timer for this: 4 minutes to heat the waffle maker, then about 3-3.5 minutes to cook the waffle. Finally, I appreciate that its size and weight make it really easy to store -- if I don't end up keeping it out to use it. Finally, Presto has priced it to reflect the lack of bells and whistles such as a built-in timer and audio signal. So, it's a good value.

It makes good smaller Belgian waffles and takes very little storage space. But it’s expensive for what it is. There’s an indicator light for power on, but no indication of when it’s reached temperature or your waffle is done. You need to set a timer. No measuring scoop they just tell you to use 2/3 cup. Satisfied because we wanted smaller Belgian waffles and it does the job.

We use to have for over 20 years a larger Belgian Waffle Maker that I loved, but after time they were too big. This one is just the right size and you can add what you want to the time. It is nice I can keep batter in the refrigerator when I make my sourdough batter. It does take up as much batter like the old one. We love it and it is crispy when done.

I bought this one as a "starter" waffle maker. After comparing different brands, styles, and sizes and going through (and filtering) reviews for many, many units, I decided to go with the Presto Flip, and this is why: 1. Seemingly much lesser chance of it malfunctioning, as compared to other waffle makers in the same or higher price range, or to more complicated (and therefore, much more expensive) units. 2. Easy to use & easy to clean. 3. Easy to store. 4. Great price. Waffle maker worked right out of the box. Waffles are small. It takes about 5 minutes to make one There isn't a ight/sound indicator to tell you when the waffles are done, but it appears to be easy to operate, and so far, the results are consistent.

Makes thick waffles. Takes a few minutes each so slower process but cooks great. You flip/turn over the machine on each side while cooking. Overall exactly what I was looking for. Gets hot farely quick. Cleans up nice. No problems with sticking.

The pros are that’s it’s small, makes thick waffles and is compact for storage. The cons are it sticks! I have no idea why no reviews mention this but it is a pain to open the iron once the waffle is done - you need super strength and then once you can finally get it open, the waffle sticks to iron with brute force and takes a fork to pry away at it and hope that it comes out in one piece. Now, I’ll have a fun time trying to clean the stuck on boys out of the waffle iron.

They must learn to time the baking for best results.
