The laser level is an excellent tool to have at home for any type of projects that requires leveling, from hanging frames to building a structure. The laser level is easy to use, and it has a 360-degree horizontal laser lighting for leveling. The kit has nice gadgets like a base for placing the laser level so it can be raised or lowered, and it has a 360-degree rotation mount. The laser light is bright indoors. On a sunny day, the laser light is hard to see outside, therefore I use it for outside projects early morning or late in the afternoon so I can see the laser. On a cloudy day it can be used outdoors any time of day. The kit came with instructions that are easy to follow. Currently using the laser level for building a shed and it has been crucial for the construction.

This laser level works really well. As long as you get it within 3 degrees of level, the unit takes care of self leveling after that. The case is very solid and it comes with a lot of nice adapters to aid in mounting the level. I'm knocking it down for 1 star because of the batteries. Originally I liked this kit because of being able to charge the batteries over USB-C. Unfortunately, I cannot use my own chargers for this and need to use the included unit. The indication and charging is build into the included charger and not the batteries. I would have preferred indicator lights on the batteries and to be able to use any USB-C charger.
