If you’re looking to add extra weight and stability to your video rig, this V Mount Battery is a solid choice. I originally used this for my A7 III, using a cable from the battery’s USB A port, into the camera’s USB C port.Once I upgraded my A7 III to an A7S III, I quickly learned that the USB A port’s power was insufficient. Switching to the USB C port was all I needed to do. Now this battery has no issues powering the A7S III while shooting for hours.

This battery is a powerhouse! Compact design with plenty of mounting options. It keeps my camera, monitor, and other accessories running smoothly for hours. The digital readout is a nice touch, very convenient to monitor battery levels.

Great 99W battery! Charges fast and powers my small rig (Sigma FP with Atomos Ninja) for multiple days at a time. The USB voltage information comes in handy. I wish it was possible to turn off the D-tap terminal along with the USB terminals. I leave the camera plugged in all the time and the battery drains about 2% each day. Also wish it came with a BP cover, hate to see those terminals exposed and subjected to humidity and the salt air while sailing and filming for our YoutTube channel. I'll be looking into a V-Mount plate with BP connection and an off button in the near future. Have to say, one outstanding feature is just how durable this battery is. It survived an accidental drop of over 4' (1.2M) with only a small dent in the corner. All internal welds held perfectly. Pleasant surprise! Highly recommended at the current price point.

So convenient!!! I use this for multiple parts of my studio set-up when needed. It takes a little time to charge up to 100% but it holds that battery life a long time! It's heavy, so if you're using it for a part of the camera, I suggest an attachment piece for it. Love this battery, though. Worth it if you're considering it.

It's competitively priced compared to similar V-mount batteries on the market.While I appreciate the compact size, it's worth noting that it is slightly larger and heavier than the "pro" version. Additionally, it doesn't have the same level of heat management. For everyday use, this hasn't been an issue, but I would hesitate to use it in extremely hot environments.

This battery has worked wonders for me and a great value for the money. While it works perfectly for my purposes, the battery drains a little faster than I expected but I'm not sure if my expectations are aligned with reality or not. But either way, it lasts a LONG time which makes how quickly it charges an even bigger plus. If I had a need to, I would buy another in a heartbeat.

If you're on the fence, just buy it. I was hesitant to move over to a V-Mount system for the longest time. But man, these things changed my relationship to professional shoots. Over quick charge USB-C, it charges up increibly fast. On big shoot days, I can bring one of these guys fully charged, and never have to worry about battery life. The screen on the back helps a ton, especially when charging or trying to gauge how much battery life you have left. The build quality is sturdy and the look itself is sleek and unassuming. Super easy to use with a TON of ports for powering multiple devices at once. At full price, I still think these are absolutely worth it. But they're also on sale very often. Highly recommend

Very good usage. Doesn’t come with a charger though, so that’s very very inconvenient. I damaged my last battery by plugging into some BS.
