I dislike the level of sweetness. I wish it were 1/2 as sweet. I mix it 1/2 and 1/2 with and unsweetened protein powder. I am glad it has no acesulfame-I would never eat it if it had that in it. It tastes good and mixes well and also has spirulina in it, which is nice. I wish it didn't use fructose since that is hard on the liver.

Only protein drink my body handles well. I have been drinking this product for years. So thankful it still is available. Thank you

I purchased this product for its consistency in good flavor, for a protein substitute that was dairy and soy free, and for the spirulina benefits. All was fine until I discovered that the whey used in it still had enough lactose to be bothersome for me.

The powder should use milk not water in my opinion. It tastes like a smoothy as long as it is blended w ice as well.The value for the money is great .It is 40.00 at a health food store I usually go to. Amazon is 28.00

I have alway bought the original with soy, decided to try the one with whey. It’s awful. It blends nicely, but it is so sweet it’s like dumping a pixie stick in your milk. Hate the taste, will go back to the original. Sad you can’t return it since it is more expensive. Just stick with the original.

I've tried a bunch of brands, and I ended up settling into vanilla Spiru-Tein Whey for its nutritional completeness and wholesome flavor. The vitamin and mineral profile is great, it's not based on soy protein, and with frozen fruit, you can easily make something chilly, delicious, and different every morning for a breakfast smoothie after a workout. I usually also put a serving of rolled oats and a little flax seed in mine. Works great with berries, bananas, pineapple, or even as an apple smoothie with cinnamon and nutmeg or an orange julius. It's delicious on its own too, but be prepared to use a blender to get it to mix smooth anyway.

Super weight loss aid. My body loves this product. I am allergic to soy. This has no soy. The whey is taste and digestion friendly for me. Worth it. A little bit hard to find. But glad I found Nature's Plus.
