Drain Cleaner,Line Cap. Up to 1-1/4"

This is a great tool to have around the house that can save hundreds of dollars on plumber service charges. This drain snake is easy and straight forward to use and gets the job done. I have used mine several times to clear obstructions caused by hair and miscellaneous items my toddlers decided to stuff down a drain. If you have common backups or blocked pipes I would recommend buying the model that has a connection point for a hand drill to dispense and retrieve the snake quicker.

This worked great for our toilet. It was a bit confusing with the handle and such at first use but we figured it out and all was well after that. Went all the way in our toilet pipe and we found out a line plug was not the problem for a subflo flush-down. **NOTE: It ended up being a plugged up little hole in the front inside the toilet bowl (never knew what that hole was for in the first place-now i know) that was making the toilet water not flush down! Just a little blob of hard water deposit in that tiny hole messed up the whole toilet flush!!!! So take a hanger in that little hole if your pipe is not plugged!

I'm on my second one, so far. If you force it, the cable will kink, and when it kinks it'll never again retract/extend correctly. However, if you don't force it, it works pretty well! It's cleaner to use than a bare cable/rod. Despite its lack of durability due to using too small/weak of a cable, its redeeming grace is it's relatively cheap. It nominally works, but it could be a better-designed product. I think it would be a bit heavy/unwieldy for a smaller woman with lesser upper body strength, or if you're a bigger weightlifter guy you'll easily kink the cable and be very unhappy. If you force it, it'll break, so you have to have a strategy of working smarter not harder. For your casual kitchen/bathroom sink clogged trap, it's "adequate". Its smaller than the pictures might imply and could store neatly under a sink in most cabinets, probably. It fits in a 5-gallon bucket that I have; I don't know if thats a standard size bucket. Thats a convenient storage strategy as it's going to end up pretty filthy eventually and the bucket will contain most of the mess in storage.

Rusted on first attempted use. Feeder didn’t work. Very awkward to hold. Would not recommend.

I bought a cheaper version of this and it broke. This one got the job done. The bathroom sink clogged and this got it un clogged. The clog was a long way down and this was long enough to get to it, and get it out. It's made of durable material.

It worked well and seems to be built good.

Works ok. Decent quality. Why does it seem like all of these snakes, regardless of brand, have their handles on backwards? Maybe its just me. Feel like they all could be more comfortable to use with a few design tweaks.

The cord would not retract. Water collected within the casing. Had to push the cord back into the casing and it wouldn’t stay wrapped.
