Great binnacle for Yamaha outboards.
Great product for the price, frame and internal parts made in Japan, same quality as oem yamaha binnacle, wiring is good but slightly less quality compared to oem. Works perfectly with 2000 yamaha ox66 outboard. Overall rating 5 stars considering price, quality and function.

Direct fit
This control box was a direct fit for my 2013 Evinrude 30HP E-tec. the color wires were the same. worked perfect for my trim system and for starting the engine. all I had to buy was some Deutsch connectors to adapt to the wiring come form the boat. overall took me about 20 minutes to get the control box wired, crimped, and installed on the boat. also the construction is all aluminum. very sturdy product

Bad Deal!
I returned three of these because they are junk! Each one I got did the same thing, "when throttling up in the forward motion something would snap internally and then lock up! would have to disconnect the throttle and shift cables to get it to move and then it was shot! every time the cables are put back in place it locked up. My original control box works fine, I just wanted one that was more os a modern or new look to it. I wanted to give a five star rating based on looks alone, but the craftsmanship of internal parts kills that idea! It has a washer in it that holds the internal moving parts in plcae that appears to be braded in, this is the part that pops loose and locks up the control box.

Seamless install
Easy install, feels good, should have done it 20 years ago with this boat 🤷🏼♂️

Came in with broken ignition switch, unable to easily locate a replacement. I will have to disassemble old ign switch and wiring and wire it to the new assembly. Not for the the average shade tree mechanic. Connecting the shift and throttle cables were easy mounting it is super easy if you install rivet nut instead of the provided nylock lock nut.

Well made
Very well made, seems to be much better than OEM. Didn't get it all the way installed because we found a broken cable that we need to replace before bolting up. I'll update the review if needed, but even with it not being completely installed I'm pleased with it.
