Pfaltzgraff Patio Garden 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4

The dinnerware arrived in a very timely manner. I was surprised how pretty they really were. They were purchased as a gift and the bride to be had to check them out. She was thrilled.

I bought 3 sets of this Patio Garden set. Our family hates them. The 1st shipment had broken dishes, which I contacted the company about replacing. The replacements were shattered in box when they arrived. By that time, half of our dishes had chips in the finish. But the worst thing about these dishes is that when used in the microwave, they absorb the heat, and not the food. So we've been having to warm plates of food for double the time so the food will get hot and then we have to use pot-holders to get the plates, bowls or cups out of microwave. By this time I have to just eat the cost of dishes and I'm looking for a new set. Waste of money. These dishes should not say, "Microwave safe".

We recieved 2 sets of these for our wedding, then we bought a 3rd set (12 people total) for hosting Thanksgiving this year. Great stuff and everybody loves them.Would recommend, thought we have chipped 2 plates in 6 months so far.**UPDATE**chipped 3 plates and 1 bowl in 11 months...chipped 4 plates and 2 bowls in 13 months...
