I discovered cooling towels some years ago whilst in the USA and they really are a godsend especially when the humidity is high.These come in a pack of two, both different but striking shades of blue. They are nice and long and are made up of three layers, so they help to keep you cool and absorb skin sweat and they do this effectively. Both towels come with their own carry bag and carabiner so you can attach it to your belt or bag when not in use.Unfortunately, there are no instructions, other than on here but you simply need to wet with cold water and drape it on your person. I like to wear mine around the neck as if it were a scarf, but they are long enough to wear as a bandana if you prefer. When it gets warm/ dries out you simply wet again. You can also wet it, put it in the bag and place that in the fridge or freezer if you want a colder towel,I think these offer good value for money, as I say if you are looking for ways to keep cool these really are a great way of doing so.

I'm not a fan of the heat so I'm always looking at ways to cool myself down so I ordered these small cooling towels.They came well packaged and in the package you get the towels and two little plastic holders that you can clip onto your gym bag or any other bag that you choose you can even hang on your trousers if you like.Will you do with these towels is that you get them wet then you flick them about a bit so they get cold and then use them just to call yourself down, at first I thought this was going to be nonsense but I followed the instructions and put it around my neck and to my surprise it was absolutely freezing which is brilliant. I then compare it to a tea towel and done the same thing and the tea towel was not half as cold.After about a minute it did start to warm up around my neck so it's not magic or anything but I can say that this does actually work and it did keep me cool which was really nice.These towels are only small towels and they're sort of like just enough to hang around your neck or other parts of your body.Overall if you're looking for a simple and effective way just to call yourself down then these could be for you, just remember the cooling effect doesn't last too long.

These towels are thin, with nice colouring and multi layered but pack up very small and are extremely light. I weighed one of them at 50 grams. They are quite long (at a guess maybe a metre).They are simple to use by simply soaking and wringing, then shaking. My head is always where I feel hot and this did give an instant effect by wrapping around my neck.A good price for these towels which work well to give short bursts of cooling. They are also very good for sweat absorption, which I have used when exercising before using them for cooling.

Really good towels for taking to the gym. Because they're so thin, you can easily hang them from your pocket without them dragging your pants down. I prefer this style to a traditional towel as it's less bulky and doesn't weigh a lot. If I had one complaint, it's that they could be a bit wider (they're 30cm wide). I put one on an inclined bench to do some dumbbell work, and it just about fits across without any slack either side. The length (100cm) is perfect though, and can be folded if you need less. They work well to wipe away sweat from your forehead, and are quite absorbent, so won't be dripping everywhere. They come up well in the wash too, without losing integrity. I'd definitely recommend.

The two towels are a good size but equally fold down to really small and light for carrying or storing. I like the two different colours and that storage bags and carabiners are included. It’s a pity that no instructions are in the package. If you haven’t used this type of microfibre towel before you probably wouldn’t know how to use it without referring back to the listing.

I ordered this pack of two lightweight cooling towels in blue. One is sky blue and the other Royal blue.The shape of the towels looks like a microfibre scarf. They are made from the perforated looking microfibre used in sports vests.After being held under the tap and wetted they are easy to wring out so they are not too sopping wet before using. There are then several different ways you can use them, including draping it around your neck and shoulders, which gives an instant cooling effect. Perfect on hot days or when you are exercising.If you prefer a colder still towel pop a damp towel into the clear resealable pouch provided a pop into the fridge for a few hours.The clear pouches are ideal for storing the towels in between use. The pouches also come with a carabiner clip for hanging from a backpack. Which is very handy.I have found these towels to be very useful. They also make an ideal cold compress when needed.They appear to be a good quality well made item.

We have owned these before so have some experience of them.They really do work on a hot day when you want to cool down. Simply wet them, wring them out, give it a shake and place around your neck, the effect is immediate. If you feel it is loosing its effectiveness, remove it, give it another shake and put back around your neck, simple. Nice colours too!
