4HOW Mens Casual Oxford Lace Up Shoe

First day I wore these 6 different people complimented on them. One person even bothered their boyfriend about how these are the shoes she was talking about (I have no idea what the original conversation was but it was probably something about how he needs to not dress like a slob). The first day the shoes smelled pretty bad of a chemical smell. I let them air out in my bathroom and they were good to wear within a couple days. They fit as expected. I usually wear a 9 to 9.5 and I ordered a 9. I have a regular width foot and they fit snug but comfortable. I have about 15 days of wear time on these and they seem to be holding up pretty good. The corduroy is not really noticeable. They look and feel like suede until you get really close. Laces started to unravel a bit within the first couple days, they seem to be pretty cheap. Could always replace the laces later on. Otherwise these shoes are great fitting and good looking. So far they have held up well and for $28 buying another pair isn't going to break the bank.EDIT: The above review is for the Black version.I also bought the Tan ones, but the color is not all that tan. It is more of a tan/green color. Its somewhat hard to tell the green but you get a sense it is there. They still look good but be aware they are not very tan.

I bought these shoes in may of 2017, so almost a full year. I wear them 75% of the time (almost daily) and they are still holding up! Colors haven’t faded, stitching hasn’t come undone, just a great quality shoe which is surprising because of the price.I was wearing them today and thought, you know, these have been one of my favorite shoes and they were so cheap! Thats why I’m leaving this review now.I’m gonna order a few other pairs in the other colors.

I don't think these would hold up for long if you walk miles a day, like I did when I lived in Boston and commuted via train, bike, and walking. However, now I am in a suburb and drive all the time. Given that, these have held up well. I really enjoy them and I wore them all winter through snow and slush and ice. I sprayed them with a sealer to help them hold up and they sure did. No damage or anything. I don't know why everyone fears suede and water because these have never had any issues with water during the winter or the rest of the year with rain. I'm happy with them!

PROS: These shoes were extremely comfortable. The corduroy material is relatively thin and looks more like suede than corduroy, but I actually liked that. The thin material makes the shoes very flexible and comfortable. They seem to be able to work casually or formally. The shoes also fit like a glove (I do not have a wide foot so the fit was very snug, which I liked). Lastly, the color is a bit darker than in the picture. It's got somewhat of a brownish-olive green tint, but again, I didn't mind that much.CONS: The one thing I really hated about these shoes was the color of the sole and shoe laces. It kind of sounds trivial, but they are an oddly bright orange that I thought clashed with the color of the shoes. I tried to wear them with grey and blue slacks, but because of the sharp contrast in colors, I felt the color combinations looked strange. I wished the laces and sole more closely matched the color of the fabric.OVERALL: The value of this shoes is outstanding. You really get more than you paid for. I would recommend purchasing them and trying them on to see what you think. It's hard to buy a formal shoe without actually trying it on first. I, unfortunately, returned this item simply because of the color of the sole and laces. Other than that, they seemed like a great bargain that is both fashionable and comfortable. Good luck.

I like the shoes, but you do get what you pay for. I bought these for work as a front desk attendant at a hotel so they didn't see too much stress. After about a month or two the inside of the shoe was starting to see wear. A little after that the shoe strings snapped, and I've put them out of commission til I can find replacement strings. Overall I'd say they are okay shoes, but it might be worth it just to spend a bit more for something that will last.

Low cost is the criteria under which I judge these shoes. They look great except for the silly leather patch and rivet decoration close to the upper heel.If they last a year or two worn 3 times a week, they will definitely be a bargain. I noticed a couple of review complaints about the "thin" inner sole, but it feels adequate to me.

Not much arch support, but even still these are one of the most comfortable shoes that I own. Very happy with them.

Actually quite nice for the price. These are not real suede but they do look good. I bought the brown shoes and they are a little darker in real life but they still look good. They are comfortable but could use a little more cushion. The sole feels a little cheep but after a day of wear is holding up well. I like them. We shall see how they hold up over time.

Great looking shoes but they rub small. Recommend getting one size up from your normal size.

Excellent shoe! Has held up for at least five months I get compliments on them all the time. The sole is flat on the inside, there's no Arch support. But still feels great
