These are great for camping. We also just leave them out plugged in while on the deck. Keeps the bugs away. Will kill wasps too

I had an electric swatter for a couple years but it suffered damage and broke. I tried buying the same one and the quality had gone seriously downhill on that battery powered one. This one is lightweight but sturdy. The zap sound is extremely satisfying, but if you want a quiet zapper, this one isn’t the one for you. I love that CRACK POP confirmation that I nailed the fly I was aiming for. I do wish that it could charge fast enough to stay on longer when on the charging station but that’s a small caveat. I have left it on in the stand overnight and it’s definitely attracted and killed flies that way.

When mosquitoes draw up a love list - I am surely at the top. Inside/ outside - they seek me out. I have three small dogs and their needs to go outside adds another point of entry for surreptitious entry. I have done much research & tried many chemicals. They are effective - but unpleasant smell. Some have very toxic profiles for me and even more dangerous to dogs. I still have my garden sprayed. These units have let me stop using chemicals unless I’m going outside. Reduced indoor bites by 90%. Only con is they also kill harmless little moths & turn mosquitoes into just shreds. A daily wipe or swiffer solves that. I have 3 in a large bedroom. The most active is near my door that leads to hall to garden doors (screened) All are well away from my bed as I read the large outdoor zappers can spread disease when they vaporize a disease carrying mosquito. These have been so good I ordered 2 more. Another brand was not as good. I wouldn’t expect a long life - but if I get a season without red bug bites all over - It is worth it. Interesting these Bajio mosquitos don’t itch like lowland USA ones.

These are worth the money.

Variable results with swatting mosquitoes. They are not drawn to the light and often miss swatting them when you attempt to manually. They survive to bother you again. Disappointed.

La racchetta funziona bene, anche come lampada attira insetti, ma solo se non ci sono altre luci forti accese. L'abbiamo usata durante una cena in terrazza e con le luci accese gli insetti ignoravano la racchetta ed erano comunque attratti dai nostri faretti. Proverò ad installarla davanti ad un faretto per vedere se così può essere più efficace

There work really well. They seem to pretty much instantl kill any flying critters, although the light doesn’t appear to attract mosquitoes, just other flies. Still, it’s fun to swat mosquitoes before bedtime and hear that satisfying snap, crackle, and pop. The battery life seems to last a long time as well, so overall I’m very happy with these.

Great for killing flies, but moths stink because they are so small. But it gets the job done; unfortunately, it scares the living bejaysus out of my cat, so I can only use it when she is out socialising. Would I buy it again? Yes! Would I recommend it? Yes.

Wer etwas effektives sowie qualitativ hochwertiges gegen Mosquitos sucht, der wird hier fündig. Die Stromstärke, mit dem Mosquitos und Fliegen gleicher Größe konfrontiert werden, ist tierwohlmäßig optimal - die Viecher sind sofort futsch. Fliegen (vor allem Größere) sind nur betäubt, die liegen dann in der Regel benommen am Boden, wo ich dann kurzen Prozess (nicht mit der Klatsche, sondern mit z.B. der Zeitung) mache. Das sollte bei den Tierliebhabern hier auch zu etwas mehr Zustimmung führen. Die Fliegenklatschen haben 2 Funktionen: Einmal nur an, wenn der große, weiße "Button" gedrückt wird (und das macht man automatisch, wenn man das Teil in die Hand nimmt) = mittlere Einstellung vom seitlichen Schieber sowie als nächtliche Mosquito-Fang-Maschine inkl. UV-Beleuchtung = obere Einstellung. Letzteres habe ich bisher nur 2x verwendet, da dafür die Klatsche permanent am Strom bleiben muss (Akku wäre nach einigen Stunden leer) und wir zu dem Zeitpunkt eigentlich kaum noch Mosquitos im Zimmer hatten. Die permanente blaue Beleuchtung ist im Schlafzimmer auch etwas störend - erst recht wenn es ein Viech erwischt hat (dann ist man schlagartig wach). Insgesamt aber ein durchdachtes und gutes Produkt. Und wenn man die Billigklatschen aus dem Baumarkt (die in der Regel länger, aber definitiv nicht besser sind) kennt, dann merkt man, dass das hier ein hochwertiges Pendant dazu ist (auch wenn es auch nur aus Plastik und Metall besteht). Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

These Fly killers are very good at killing the flys. I have only given four stars as when a fly is killed by the 4000v electric shock, the device gives out a loud click and a flash. This scared my cat he ran a mile, and my dog keeps barking at it all the time. But all in all this does the job at killing the fruit flies that I have at the moment.
