Good so far
Did not work right out of box. The power charger creates electric spark when plugged into the scooter. The scooter has no initial charge and never powered on.After contacting seller, and then trying to leave the scooter plugged in for a long period of time, I found that the charger eventually started to work after 3 hours, and then device was fully charged after about 7 hours total. The device worked great after that. First test run is that the device has very good range and power. The light is great as well. A bit heavy, but fine for how long much capacity the device has and how much power it has.My concern is that the device was shipped with a lithium battery that was completely dead. It's common knowledge that this causes battery degradation. It doesn't seem like the battery suffered on the first run, but I will have to see how it holds up over the next few months. Manufacturer should find way to ensure that the battery has some charge on it when it is sitting on shelf - even their instructions assume that this would be the case and ask you to initially power cycle the device to test it before even fully charging it. Hopefully the battery is not harmed, and if it does seem to degrade prematurely, that the seller will offer solution. I will try update in a few months or earlier if anything changes.

Impressed
Awesome! 3 speads- 6mph, 12mph, and 18mph. It has cruise control. It goes for about 7+ miles at a good clip. Can take slopes, just needs some motivation on the bigger ones. Front LED Light is very bright. Rear light is motion activated and a little flimsy. (mine broke off after a month of going over train tracks 3x a day. The display is nice and bright. Can hold 2 people, just uses more battery. And yeah, its great! Thanks!

Product developed a major fault within two months
After owning the scooter for slightly longer than a month, the following have happened (in this order):* Scooter arrived with dead lithium battery (causes shortened battery life)* Rear wheel light broke off while riding on the street (flat pavement)* Scooter started randomly braking while riding on the street (flat pavement) -- very dangerousI have made adjustments and performed maintenance as specified in the manual. Now, I need to send it back. The last page of the manual has quality assurance solutions but no instructions for how to get it repaired. I have contacted the seller about this and am waiting for a response. Hopefully they will get back to me, but I'll update this as the story unfolds.UPDATE 7/30: The seller got back to me. I had to re-pack everything and ship it to New Jersey (the seller paid shipping). Because of logistical issues, the seller asked me to order the scooter on Amazon and agreed to refund the new purchase price through PayPal.UPDATE 7/31: I re-purchased the product and the seller provided the refund as agreed. Hopefully the last one I got was just a dud!

Personal experience
I purchased this and received it by July 26, 2018. I live uphill from work and commute 2.4 miles one way, 4.8 miles per day. That is approximately 25 miles per week. This scooter is rated at 15+ miles on a flat surface in 2nd gear with a 170lb person. I’m 5’9” at 172lbs. I travel downhill for 2.4 miles and uphill 2.4 miles per day. I don’t go in 3rd gear. That being said, the battery should hypothetically be only 1/3 of the way consumed by the time I got home daily.Wrong. It didn’t.By the end of the first month the battery had been depleted to 25% by the time I got home. By the end of the 2nd month I was on the last stretch of battery with it blinking, indicating it’s dying.I contacted the company and they can either ship out a new one or refund me. So I chose refund.I started the process about a week ago. I was provided a return shipping label. It was labeled “CF” where the postage would be. That means “Consumer/Customer Pays”. Ok fine. I go to ship pay for this to ship and fedex, UPS, and USPS needed more info about the battery before I could ship it.The company hasn’t provided anything more than the label and scooter specs, not battery specs. So I’ve been having to do research on my own in order to try and ship this thing.Turns out, it also needs specific packaging before shipping and many stickers indicating that it’s a hazardous battery in the package. However, that’s for batteries that are smaller than the one in the scooter. So you can imagine what’s needed for a battery of this size. The only thing I know about the battery is it’s basic specs of 36 volts, lithium, etc. Oh, and UN Code E485510 (which isn’t listed under shipping procedures with all these shipping companies for some reason).Final suggestion: don’t waste your time on this scooter unless you honestly intend on using it for about a mile a day and ONLY on a flat surface for fun. Don’t plan on commuting with this.

This thing is dangerous.
This thing is a death trap. Do not buy it. I wrecked it just two weeks after buying it because of the poor traction on the wheels and terrible shock absorbers and ended up having my hand exrayed. This morning on my way to work in DC, I saw a man riding the same scooter and for literally no reason other than hitting a tiny bump in the road, he completely lost control and is now on the way to the hospital. I’ve ridden on other scooters and have not had the same experience with not being able to control it. Waste of money

Great produce, worth every penny!
Okay here’s my honest opinion. This has been the best money I’ve spent in a while! It came with 1/4 battery so I fully charged it and 2.5 hrs later it was ready to go! Freaking FLIES!! I did 21.1 MPH down hill! Smooth riding and shocks absorb great. Trying to convince my buddies to get one. Battery lasts a long time! I’m 5, 9” and 230lb! It carries me fine. I’m a happy customer for sure 👍🏻👍🏻
