Swift Sports Resistance Band Bundle for Athletes (10 Items)

I'm rehabilitating sore rotator cuffs from weight lifting, but don't have time to go to a Physical Therapist and pay them $25 per visit to watch me exercise with bands exactly like these. There are several reputable Kinesiologists, PTs, and Orthopedists with YouTube videos that describe in detail how one might injure their rotator cuff muscles, and how to use these bands to improve flexibility and strength in the stabilzing shoulder muscles and tendons to prevent injuries or perform at home rehab if the damage is already done.Amazon had several options, some with more pieces at higher prices, but this set by Swift Sports for Athletes had only what I needed so I didn't have to pay for extra parts I wouldn't use. Now instead of scheduling appoinments and paying a PT Aide to count reps for me, I use these bands in the privacy of my home to do shoulder exercises when I wake up in the morning, when I get home from work, and again before going to bed.

The product seems well made in terms of its materials. However, the stitching is sub-par, and would seem the element most likely to fail, eventually. And the enclosed booklet is much less than adequate, hardly explaining what's included in the set ( which part is the door anchor? or the ankle bracelet?) or giving even basic instructions about safe use. If you buy this -- and for the price, I'd buy it again -- be sure you order one of the many books explaining the resistance band workout program, or else you may be at a loss figuring how to use them.

The bands so far are good, and they appear to be durable. They are not terribly strong, resistance wise, but you can use more than one band to increase the resistance of desired.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of the handles this comes with. If you have small hands you'd probably be okay, but the nylon handle straps would run against my hands as I worked out. Basically was like sand paper against my skin, so I had to get another set of handles.

I used these yesterday for the first time and they are excellent! I am most impressed by the LIFETIME GUARANTEE! The bands are made well, the clips work great and the ankle straps make the leg workout comfortable. Also, the door attachment works well at any level, whether high or low. I am very pleased with my decision to buy Swift brand bands. My only suggestion would be to have a better manual for how to perform the different band exercises. My final decision to buy these bands as opposed to others on Amazon, was the lifetime guarantee and one reviewers video they included in their review. Thanks Amazon for another great product!

The door anchor is a bit odd and it would have been nice to have more instructional information, but other than that this is a great set. My teen son uses it when he can't use his outside weight bench, and I use it when I just want something different. The varying tensions is a huge plus!

The sheet that comes with this has the colors in a different order. From light to heavy is Yellow, Green, Red, Blue, Black. This makes me doubt the resistance settings of these bands too. I do not have a spring scale to measure, but it took the Red, Blue and Black bands in order to do proper chest flys.Build quality seems good though, so short form the fear I will eventually max out the bands, they seem good.

I ordered the complete set of bands. I received the complete set of bands, handles and ankle attachments, however I did not recieve the card that indicated the relative weight equivalents of the bands. Everything works as expected but I wish the card had been included with my shipment.

These resistance bands do the job that is required of them. That being said I prefer resistance bands be one piece without the clip on handles.ProsThe handles are easy enough to attach and switch over.5 bands, gives plenty of options.Door jam attachment is nice.Travel bag is compact and nice to have.ConsMetal clip rub on skin.Cut me and gave me a blister.Less convenient than bands with attached handles.
