I have noticed that I've had a bit more energy since taking this product, either dissolved in warm water or black coffee (decaf or caffeinated).I did experience what seemed to be a temporary detox reaction on first taking it: I took a little in warm water the evening it arrived, then more in black coffee the next morning. Within a few hours I experienced sudden exhaustion which felt like I'd hit a wall, and lasted for a few hours. The skin on my face is normally clear and smooth but within a day a few spots appeared. These disappeared in a few days. I'd rather not have had this of course, but see it as a positive thing as it shows that the product is having an effect.I waited for two or three days before trying the shilajit again one morning in my coffee as I could see it was having some effect. This time, I had more energy through the day. It seems to be having a positive effect and I'm glad I didn't let the initial detox reaction signs put me off.My friend also tried some dissolved in warm water and she felt a marked difference and a positive sensation of shifting in her belly. She has had some issues with her digestive system, including long-term impacted faeces. She was amazed at the effect and didn't seem to have any of the reaction that I initially had.We're both excited about this product and I'm glad I came across it.Packaging is beautiful and well-thought out. The cylindrical cardboard outer packaging box arrived slightly squashed but it was easy to reshape it manually. The jar inside and contents arrived in perfect condition.I keep the shilajit in the airing cupboard as it's texture is very tacky and tar-like and the heat of the cupboard helps prevent it from becoming any more solid than it already is. The metal measuring stick is excellent and makes it possible to get a serving out of the jar but it's still a bit fiddly.Taste is earthy, pungent and strong, but not off-putting. I prefer it in black coffee.

Nice sturdy well packed pot, but the pot was only half full ? not sure if this thick substance settles down in transit? its so hard to get out of the pot too but that was expected according to the reviews - I have used it for 2 days no bad affects if anything feeling a bit more energy already?? will carry on with interest and maybe see if the next pot will be full?
