Wood Screws 1/2 Inch, FIXLINK Premium Flat Head Phillips Black Wood Screws 135 PCS, Self Tapping Electrophoresis Used in Indoor Furniture, Woodworking (#6 x 1/2")

These are very nice screws. I went to Ace Hardware first and the only ones they had of this size they were black or something like $.40 apiece. I thought I would give these a try and I am very happy. They are beautiful color and extremely strong. The other day I was mounting a magnetic doorstop to a chain-link fence. When I tried drilling a pilot hole in the steel post and screwing in the hardware that came with the doorstop the head snapped off immediately. I remember that I still had these black screws from my last project. They worked beautifully. None of them stripped and none of the head snapped off. Quite impressive for screwing them and to steal. I’m very happy I found the screws in this company.

Decent screws. I used them to fabricate light weight plant stands. They were the perfect length for joining 1/2” cedar planks to 2”x2” cedar spindles. Very durable and did not strip out and screw heads. The color looked decent as well.

Screws seem good quality. Used about 80 of the 100 I purchased. No issues at all !

Worked as it should. I used these to replace door hinge screws with a little longer ones.

These screws don't just screw around. They are sturdy, add to the attraction of whatever you build, come at a good price and come in several convenient sizes. Wish they were produced locally.
