Tool is great to use on your self reties. Very flexible and easy to use. It met my expectations. I would definitely recommend this item. I did not receive the tool with the initial shipment but the mishap was corrected and I received a replacement within a few days.

I was skeptical of this when I first opened it because the orientation of the hole is different. Typically your loc tool hole opening on on the same side as the curve. However this tool is flat, the the curve going to the side of the hole (hope that makes sense)It’s strange to hold and get used to at first but after using it I’ve fallen in love. I maintain my micro locs as well as my daughters and a friend. This tool makes self maintenance so much easier and more comfortable. Using it on another head takes some getting used to but I love it nonetheless. And it’s really good because it’s flat for those locs that you struggle to pull through with the traditional metal loc tool because this one is slim and causes little to no pain.No snag at allMy only critique would be for durability, I’d like to see it made out of a harder plastic. This one now feels like it could snap or break easily.

I self retie my locs and used to use the metal loc tool. I purchased this tool because I thought I misplaced my metal tool. I did a retightening today and I must say I am impressed. I like the way that it curves to help with retightening and I like that I can bend it a little to do the pics that are a little shorter. Just might purchase a second one as a backup.

I love this very gentle on the hair easy for a diy, since I’m newly loc’d this is my second set this set is mini/micro size I’ll be getting someone else to loc it for a while but I have this tool for back up. I absolutely love it and it’s pain free and simple to use.

I LOVE this tool. I am a beginner in interlocking my locs. Speeds up my process. This is a good tool for smaller, short locs.
