I’ve gotta be honest, I was doubting that this would work at all to prevent my cat from scratching my bed and what not. I was wrong - this is insanely effective. The immediate moment I put them on and since then, my cat hasn’t scratched my bed or the walls, or bit any cables. Anywhere this stuff is she avoids which is actually impressive and exceeded my expectations. It’s just double sided tape in essence, but the idea is brilliant. She also has a tendency to bite cables and jump at outlets (kitten still that’s why), so I also cut some pieces with an open area for the outlet, and she no longer attacks those. Also for cables I cut thin strips off and wrapped it around the cable, worked to stop that as well. The corners of the walls she would bite, she no longer does. This worked far better than I thought it would and I am highly impressed. It does exactly what it says it would do + some if you get a little crafty. Amazing product, would highly recommend this to anyone with a cat who likes to bite everything. P.S: I should note that this is my experience with my kitten, it may not be as effective for your cat/kitten. For $40 though, you can’t go wrong trying it to see if it’ll work. If it doesn’t, now you have giant double sided tape!

This is the second time that I have purchased these and I am really impressed with the effectiveness the quality and how easy they are to install. They definitely help protect my furniture from my cat claws when they are running around on the furniture. The only downfall is that of course fur or fuzz does get stuck on them so you do need to reapply them from time to time because then you can see that they are on the furniture otherwise they really are not noticeable at all. They are very durable and the cats have not been able to remove them or punch holes in them to actually damage the furniture and I also like that they don’t damage the furniture when you take them off and reapply them

My roommate recently brought two cats into our apartment. We bought this to help train them away from the couch. Anytime they scratch, i put a small piece over that area and redirect them to a scratch post. They absolutely HATE the sticky texture, so they are quite easily deterred. It’s been about 3 weeks, and they are routinely using the scratch post and not even trying to scratch the couch. I would recommend a test strip if your couch is fluffy; if left on too long it might pull out some fluff with it. I find the best way to remove it is to pull out so the plastic stretches as you hold the furniture material down.

If I could give a -5 stars I would. Don’t bother wasting your money. I saw decent reviews so I thought I’d try it out. I had it on 1 week and replaced it with another brand, the difference is significant. This one is sticky to deter cats from scratching at it which I thought was great however the moment my cat was putting its paws on the corners to stretch like she normally does the product started peeling. She was able to bite a piece of it off and I had to fish the plastic out of her mouth. Thankfully I was home so she didn’t choke. It’s not thick plastic it’s extremely thin and easy to rip. It’s essentially double sided tape.

They work great! She hasn't scratched couch since we put them on. One thing, if I swipe the corner of the couch I stick to it. But it's waaaayyyy better than a torn up brand new couch!
