Great Product! Highly Recommend
I am a huge fan of this device. Dramatically improved my GERDS within days. I will recommend this to everyone I know with GERDS. It arrived well before the promised shipping date of 2-3 weeks which was a plus, but it was still longer than I would have liked. Although the packaging was roughed up a bit due to the weight and size of the item, there was no discernable damage to the item. I don't agree with the reviewer that said this item was poorly manufactured. Yes, it is not perfectly smooth aircraft quality finishing and polishing, but the finishing quality is what I would expect from a bed frame and nothing unsafe. I thought the design was ingenious, simple, and effective. Maybe they resolved it, maybe the reviewer's expectations are unrealistic. I did not think it was difficult to put together. People who complain about that probably pay to have thier wipers changed. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The product does what it does with excellence. It is sturdy, and inclines any non platform bed without putting any stress on the frame, however the instructions are absolutely useless. Unless you are good at comparing a picture of the final product to your huge pile of iron parts and figuring out how those fit together, you will probably struggle a great deal putting this thing together.

One Star
Misleading. They are just metal inserts.

Poor Manufacturing and Design
While the Beds Up, Bed Elevating Inclined Frame Insert meets the overall objective of inclining the mattress, the design and far from stellar manufacturing quality leaves a sour taste; for such a high price. Frames are nearly a foot too short for a standard King size mattress! Support legs bend very easily. Powder coating on the lower end of the quality scale. Rusty and corroded parts. Burrs crowning nearly every hole, forcing bolts askew; and shredding fabric. Return shipping costs are ridiculous, so I completed the unfinished frame fabrication with my trusty Dremel.

Sturdy and elegant solution for GERD sufferers.
Head of the bed elevation is a very effective treatment for GERD proven by multiple scientific studies. Google them. Beds Up offers a very elegant and sturdy solution. Using extra pillows is no the same. That causes you to bend in your abdomen and can actually worsen your GERD. The blocks under the legs of the bed are not stable and can damage your bed frame. Beds up is solid without squeaks and rattle. It's a set it and forget it type of solution for GERD. There are no side effects like with taking acid blockers. Don't eat large meals in the evening and don't eat at all 3 hours before going to bed. Reduce alcohol, caffeine, garlic, onion, tomato, chocolate and mint. The $300 investment is worth every penny when you can prevent esophageal cancer, strictures or lung disease from reflux.

Positives: 4 Negatives:2
For me this is a tough 4. We installed this for our king size bed yesterday and it was quite a process for my husband and we had a young set of muscles to help. There is a lot of "asssembly required." And, the instructions are not stellar. Like other reviewers, I do not understand why it is 7 inches shorter than the underlying frame and the box springs and mattress. It does not attach to the underlying bed frame, it just sits on top which I do think will cause issues in the long run. I will likely figure out how to do this. The two twin size frames side-by-side is fine but you can't use the center aligners with both sides without causing a space between the box springs. And, like another reviewer noted, there were some issues in the manufacturing/parts that caused a couple of small issues that had to be overcome. All that said, it was great to have the frame off of the boards it used to sit on to elevate the bed and we had a great night's sleep with a firmly elevated head. And, it's made in the USA!

Worth the Money
Well made and easy to assemble. Definitely helps the reflux. Currently using the 4" insert, but will probably change to the 2". Wish there was a 3" insert. I may be able to drill an extra hole in the 4".

Excellent product and great customer support!
We purchased the king sized version and while I was hesitant to spend the money, this solution is absolutely amazing. The three height options is a nice touch. We went with 4 inches as recommended and this has been just right. The frame is extremely solid and stable. I found a video on you tube showing how to assemble and got it done in under an hour. I would highly recommend this product. Also, UPS delivered the frames in 2 boxes that had clearly been mishandled. They were broken open and some parts were missing but nothing was damaged. I contacted the seller and he immediately overnights the missing parts with no questions asked. Awesome customer service!
