Nice little unit for keeping low power electronics running!
I bought this smaller UPS to keep my Fiber ONT running when there's an outage or a power blip (the rest of my network - APs, Switch, Gateway etc) is already on a rack-mounted UPS so this ONT was my 'single point of failure' when we lose power for a while. It's a well made, smaller UPS. It's quite basic, with a power button for turning it on and off, some simple LED indicators to show power or battery mode, and an alarm for when the power is out. It wasn't super obvious to me that the battery-protected ports were the black 'normal' looking plug sockets and not the white ones. At first I had the ONT plugged into the wrong sockets and wasn't sure why it didn't work. (The white ones are surge only, no battery backup) It's powered by a single 5Ah battery. It transitions to battery mode on the loss of power instantly, there's not interruption at all for the device(s) being powered, and I figure based on some rough math that it might keep my low power ONT running for 45 minutes or so. I will test that completely at some point. The instructions state that you have to fully charge the battery before first use, so I left it plugged in overnight before I used it. I'm impressed. It's a low cost, basic UPS that should work perfectly for a use case like this. Given the small battery I wouldn't think it will keep much running for very long, and it's rated for lower than most desktop PCs will consume when they're working hard... So modems, routers, ONT units, maybe a switch or two... but don't expect to protect much more than that. Once I've tested how long this keeps my ONT running for I'll update my review. I also might try to find a 12V 7Ah battery that fits this unit... again, based on my calculations that would increase the time it'll keep devices on by about 40%... but I intend to experiment and find out! Impressive little unit! Perfect for something like this!

Bought just for my cable and modem setup in laundry room
This 240 backup battery surge protector has given me real peace of mind. The surge protection is solid, and the built-in battery backup kicks in instantly during outages, keeping my PC and streaming equipment safe without even a hiccup. It’s powerful enough to run multiple devices at once, and I’ve already seen it save my setup during a short power flicker. The design is sturdy and well-built, with plenty of outlets and clear indicators so I know exactly what’s going on at a glance. Setup was simple, and it runs quietly in the background without being intrusive. For anyone who relies on their electronics — whether for work, gaming, or streaming — this is an essential piece of gear. Reliable, tough, and worth every penny for the protection it provides.

Perfect for small servers and emergency charging during outages
My area has frequent outages and this works perfect to give me some extra juice to softly shutdown my home server, but I do not recommend running a gaming PC off it, it just cant handle the energy pass through.

If you're not tech-savvy, this is a great Battery Backup
I bought this UPS to keep my home TV and router powered during outages, and overall, it's been solid. It keeps my fiber modem running for over two hours, which is clutch when the power cuts out. The design is sleek and doesn’t take up much space—definitely a plus. For the price, it's a decent value. That said, the battery life and quality are hit-or-miss. Some users (me included) say it holds power well, but others have had it die even after a full 12-hour charge. Build quality seems decent, but again, some folks got lemons and reported defects out of the box. The instructions are barebones—if you're not tech-savvy, you might scratch your head a bit. Also, be aware the fan can get noisy when it's running on battery power. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you're using it in a quiet room.

Poor build quality
Never worked. I had it for a year before using it because I ordered it before I needed it. First time plugging it in and the power button just pushed right into the machine and broke off inside.

Great Compact UPS with Replaceable Battery – Perfect for Modem/Router Backup
This little UPS is exactly what I needed! The compact size makes it perfect for tight spaces. One of the biggest selling points for me was that the battery is replaceable, which extends the life of the unit and makes it more cost-effective in the long run. Set your expectations accordingly since it’s a 425VA UPS, so I doubt it would keep a desktop computer running for long. But for my needs — it keeps my Wi-Fi router and modem powered during outages and it works great. I’ve already used it during a power outage and had uninterrupted internet the whole time. A couple of things to note: - Only 5 of the 7 outlets have battery backup; the other 2 are surge protection only. - The replacement battery (RT1250B — not the A version) is a bit tricky to find and is pricer than one would think but it’s still cheaper than buying a whole new unit. If you need a small, reliable UPS for lightweight electronics like WiFi router or modem or security cameras, I highly recommend this one.
