Yes, you can purchase more expensive and better quality taps but these do work. I’d buy them again.

Taps work fine, good quality for the money.

Normally when it comes to taps, you get what you pay for...in this case, I feel like they are pretty low on the quality spectrum, because it took a LOT of force to get it to cut the threads (yes, I used the proper size drill). If I was buying a cheaper kit, i'd say whatever...but in this case I really should have shopped more to find a nicer quality tap set for the money I paid.At least they didn't snap off...but I feel like we were close.
