Great for blocking wind and keeping sand from blowing on you while lounging. Adds privacy and is perfect for families with toddlers or babies. Also helpful for keeping airborne germs at bay. You know those days when the sun is nice on the beach, but there's a breeze that makes it cool or just hard to relax? I got the Beach Fence to see if it would make those times more enjoyable, and it worked great. Seems to be well-made and durable. Light weight in a nice case, easy to carry, and the provided mallet sets the posts with 10-15 whacks each. Feels 10 degrees warmer, and your book pages don't flop around. Even blocked blowing sand at 15+ mph. We definitely enjoyed more beach time with the fence. Glad I tried it.

I bring this every time I go to the beach. It’s not just cute (I get so many compliments on it!) — it’s also incredibly functional. The fabric is thick enough to block strong winds and provide some privacy, and it’s held up surprisingly well during light Florida rain. I wouldn’t call it waterproof, but it’s definitely water-resistant enough to make a difference when the weather turns. It also helps block some sun and UV, which is great when you’re out for a while. The 20 ft length gives you plenty of coverage, and it’s easy to adjust depending on the wind direction or where the sun is. Setup is straightforward: the included rubber mallet and carrying bag make it super convenient. I just walk along the line and hammer in the poles one at a time — it’s quick, doesn’t require a second person, and the structure holds firm in the sand. It rolls up neatly into the bag afterward, and I keep it in my beach wagon as part of my regular beach gear now. Highly recommend if you want something pretty and practical.

Quality beach fencing. We use in our grass. Just pound holes in grass w/a stake and place poles into the ground attached to the fencing cloth. Sun tan in private.

This is the best purchase for the beach we have ever made. Wind proof, light weight to carry, long enough to block wind, very sturdy.

Fabulous! We loved it. It gave us wind protection but mostly it gave us social distance on an otherwise busy beach. The colours are beautiful and coincidentally we first used it on Pride Week. The breaker is not taut but only because I kept hitting stones or tree roots. The mallet that came with it was really useful, not cheap. I can see us using this for years and years to come.

Used this on the windy beaches of Oregon and Washington and it worked like a charm! Kept the wind away and blowing sand as well as privacy for the kids own play area. The mallet is ok but I used an actual hard mallet which made it faster piercing the harder sand
