Have been using it for over 2 years now and still working great.It helps us maintain our cats weight, and stopped her begging for food anytime we are in the kitchen.Very reliable, when we travel the cat watcher doesn’t have to deal with food (which always led to over feeding ). We motion activated cameras, so can verify it’s working while we are away.Also the design of the bowl is nice - easy to remove and clean.Programming it took a little getting used to, but it is fairly intuitive

The media could not be loaded. I spent so much time looking for something like this!! As someone who travels a lot for work, I’m always struggling to find a reliable person to come over to feed my cat with her wet food. All wet food feeders I had found so far used ice to keep the food, and it means it will be good for maybe a bit more than 12h. I was about to look for an engineer to design something that was like a “mini fridge” for wet food, until I found this device right when I was in a trip and the person who was supposed to feed my cat refused to enter the apartment because the cat was hissing inside. I have to say my cat was not comfortable with the device at first. She was scared of all noises coming from the feeder and was refusing to eat from it. It took me more than a week to get her used to it, and I had to be patient and slowly teach my cat to approach the feeder and eat from it. But once she got used to it, was a whole peace of mind!!! I had to move it to another location and it seems to have helped my cat to feel more comfortable. The device is so far very reliable, easy to set up the feeding schedule. the device won’t let you set up a feeding schedule that ends more than 72h after you first set it up which means 3 days this the maximum you can be away without having something coming over to feed your cat. But still, it’s a breeze!!! Some things to consider: The compartments are pretty big. As my cat does not eat much at once, there usually food remaining when the feeding time is over and the lid is closed. For me it’s good because in my recent trip, I was able to set up a new feeding schedule and my cat had a bit more food to wait for me to come home in the evening. It would be much better to have 5 smaller compartments and being able to feed the cat 5 days, but I cannot complain!! The device is sturdy, the app is pretty good and easy to set up the feeding schedule. It gives you the report of how many times you cat came to eat, and how long the cat took eating. There was a power outage while I was away but it did not disturb the feeding schedule.Bear in mind the device is pretty tall and won’t be suitable for kittens. My cat is 9lb and she can eat easily from the compartment (that is kinda deep), but it will be hard for smaller kitties.I can say I’m VERY HAPPY so far with this device.

This product is really promising as a refrigerated wet food feeder. Unlike the automatic, wet food feeders that maintain the temperature simply by placing a frozen ice pack underneath the tray, this feeder is an actual refrigerator that keeps the food cold and then warms it down to room temperature before unlocking one of three trays to feed your pet. The app works great except that it doesn’t give you an option to open all three trays at once, which is something I feel like a lot of reviews want. For example, I have had the feeder open the far right tray every morning at 5 AM to feed my cat but lately. I’ve noticed he’s been hungry when I wake up and I found out that it had been suddenly opening the wrong tray door, even though I had had the feeding set on repeat since the beginning, and it had been opening the far right tray instead of the tray directly in front of him.If they could update the app to have a checkbox that would allow all three trays to open at once, I feel like I could trust the speeder to feed my cat in the mornings and when I go on vacation, when I need all three trays to be filled with food, I would still have better peace of mind ifall three trays opened at all the designated times.The other improvement it really needs badly is it sounds a bell when it opens a tray for the cat, but the bell isn’t very loud so if you have an old cat, your cat may not hear the bell and not know that there’s food available. If they would add the option for the owner to record their voice because my cat understands the word “eat,” and also the option to raise the volume, that would signal to the cat that the tray is open and he can come eat. Otherwise, right now, even with the bail sounding, my cat may be in another room and sometimes doesn’t hear it and will miss his feeding.I feel like if they would add these options to their next update, I could fully trust this unit to feed my cat when I am away. It is a great concept, and the refrigeration itself actually works. It is just these few details that are missing that prevent the feeder from being five stars. I would actually give it 3.5 stars right now because I can’t fully trust it.If the app gets updated with these features, I will come back and give it 5 stars.
