Came earlier than expected and of course I'm happy about it. 5 stars because the price is great for the amount and is unprocessed too. The flavor is great but don't expected something tasty.The fruit of the plant has a high vitamin C content – in a range of 114 to 1550 mg per 100 grams[13] with an average content (695 mg per 100 grams), placing sea buckthorn fruit among the most enriched plant sources of vitamin C. Additionally, fruits have high concentrations of carotenoids,[22] vitamin E[23] and vitamin K.[24] The main carotenoids are beta-carotene, zeaxanthin and lycopene[22] while alpha-tocopherol is the major vitamin E compound.[23]The most prevalent dietary minerals in sea buckthorn fruits (in relation to recommended daily intake) are potassium (300–380 mg/100 g), manganese (0.28–0.32 mg/100 g), and copper (0.1 mg/100 g).[25]The fruit is also rich in plant sterols (340–520 mg/kg), β-sitosterol being the major sterol compound as it constitutes 57–83% of total sterols.[26]Flavonols were found to be the predominating class of phenolic compounds while phenolic acids and flavan-3-ols (catechins) represent minor components.[27]

I'm new to Greek tea but being a "tea" enthusiast, I was interested in trying this after reading about it. Of course it's not traditional tea, it's herbal, but you knew that right. The taste is complex and earthy, but mild and subtle at the same time. Good stuff. It's ok plain but I find adding some honey really opens it up. The brew technique is a little different than most herbals. Here you actually boil it for 3 or 4 mins and then let it steep for 5 or 6 minutes after that. Letting it go longer does not hurt the taste it only makes it better so go ahead and let it steep for 10 mins if you want. Enjoy.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff! 😍 I had never even heard of it unless recently but I was looking for new herbal teas to try and ran across this magnificent product whilst browsing and decided to give it a go and hey presto, it's a winner! Very high antioxidant and polyphenol levels make this tea super healthy and I really dig the taste. It has a slight piney flavor that I find most appealing. And the aroma! To live for! Definitely tastes and feels very healthful. This will be a regular player in my beverage rotation from here on! Have a spectacular day! 💕

Amazing sage tea! I read that drinking this type of herb helps with decreasing of breast milk supply so I was in search for good quality tea that would help me. I came across this one and I decided to give it a go. Well i drank it for a 2 weeks and it did the trick ! The tea tasted great smelled good and was fresh. I defintely recommend this tea if you're looking for good quality tea to drink.

Please be careful that you arent consuming buggs i opened the bag and luckly the beetle was at the top.. if it was at the bottom i wouldnt of even known until i got to the bottom of the bag

This is a lovely tea for after dinner or anytime, really. Although I like the earthy, herbal taste, I find that a small amount of raw Oregon honey from my hives enhances it greatly. Greek honey sold by Klio is excellent (most honey I tasted in Greece is good, especially the wild thyme honey). if you have hives or access to them, I strongly encourage you to use local honey. This is a decaffeinated tea, but hits all the right notes for a warming beverage. Highly recommended. Be sure to read all the health benefits on the package - that's the bonus.

I love herbal teas and never tried this one so I decided to give it a try. It is wonderfully packed and plant material is in SUPERB condition ! It is obviously very fresh and harvested by hand. Taste is resembling aroma of some other mountain herbs and blends that I tried before but that was actually what I was hoping for. It is GREAT tea and please do follow instructions for brewing - if you use microwave and/or do not boil water with herbs inside for 2-3 min you will not get proper taste nor release of aromatic oils. I add small spoon of orange-blossom honey to 8 oz of strained brew and it becomes really amazing beverage.

"Delicious" is in the mouth of the tea drinker!. To me it has a green taste, similar to green tea. It was OK, I got it for the antioxidents. Not sure if I would purchase it again, there are other companies which have this tea (again, have to research before buying). There doesn't seem to be a lot in the bag, but of course, it contains all of the plant, stems, leaves, etc. A bit difficult to make - you have to boil the tea in water to get the antioxidents into the brew, then strain it to get the tea. It didn't need a sweetener, wasn't bitter.
