Made in Pakistan.This is my favorite of all the shilajit resin's I've tried. It's a reasonable price and that tiny jar lasts a long time. I love the little gold spoon. I have a glass bowl next to my Keurig where I store my clean refillable pods and that cute little spoon hooks over the edge of the bowl ready and waiting.It does have a strong taste, but I can't taste it at all in my black coffee. I noticed an improvement in my forearm skin, of all places, in just five days. I find it a reasonable price and a must have.

The handling and shipping was super fast, BUT the flavor is very unpleasant, it literally tastes like goat and stays on the palate for a long time. Sorry!!

This 'Salajit Himalayan Gold Resin' brand stands out from among the rest I have tried out so far. There is so much diluted and low quality shilajit out there and when you come across the genuine stuff occasionally, you are more than pleasantly surprised let me tell you. This one passes the authenticity tests: it has an earthy, burnt herbal, tar like taste. It does not taste good by any means, however this is how it should be with the real stuff. It responds to temperature changes. It is not stretchy or stringy, it is not gritty but smooth. It dissolves in water with a golden brown color without sediment at the bottom. It burns with bubbles and white smoke and does not catch on fire. The remaining ash breaks easily into fine powder and is not a hard clump afterwards, unlike the diluted kind. This one is one of my favorites so far. It enhances the quality of my sleep and gives me alertness and focus during the day. The better quality shilajit works right away, at least with me.

The first thing I will say about this Gold Salajit is to use caution when opening the small jar. It definitely is tar-like but, I opened the jar upright, and there was enough of it on the lid that it spilled down my hand. Being said, I’m not really sure I feel any difference. I do not think I have any increased energy and definitely not strength. I take other vitamins so I’m not sure as to the immunity aspect. It could be helping me internally so I’m sure I will finish off this bottle. This is something I do not see myself keeping up with on a daily basis once this small jar is done. But, given how small of an amount is needed, this jar may last me quite a while.

I have tried salajit in gummy form but never like this. It takes a little time to prepare, but I find it sort of relaxing. Nice at the end of a long day. Taste is interesting too.

Shilajit is going viral - in a good way! People are finally discovering the added energy and benefits of this mineral rich resin that comes from high atop the the Himalayan mountains!There seems to be two spellings going on here. The common spelling is "Shilajit" but this is spelled, "Salajit" but I take them both to mean the same thing.I've been using Shilajit for a few months. I've found it to be a great late afternoon / evening pick-me-up that doesn't give me the negative after effects of caffeine or say a B12 vitamin.When I use it, I feel more alert and I find I'm able to remember things better and I'm able to express myself more clearly with a certain calmness.There are those touting this for its aphrodisiacal effects but I have not experienced that as such but I would still recommend you checking it out.I have to tell you that in spite of any claims or implications, my impression is that once it's filtered and such, in my experience, Shilajit is Shilajit. That's what you want! There is no "super concentrating" it or anything like that that I'm aware of.So be aware this product costs more because it's more than just the simple jar and serving stick that I'm used to. This is a very nice boxed set with fancy serving spoon quite suitable for gifting. You're paying a premium for this extra packaging and if you're not looking to present someone with a present and you're already aware of what Shilajit is, you should shop around before buying this.

I am a regular Shilajit user, so I know what it usually tastes and smells like. Upon opening the jar, it greatly resembles what i usually get. But the overpowering chemical/burnt smell hit me right away. I still decided to taste a bit, and it was completely inedible— tasted like a burned tire. The other reviews are good, so maybe it was a bad batch. But this was awful
