Absolutely love it! Great product and does exactly what is needed to make perfect roti as long as the user knows the correct dough recipe.

This machine doesn't work for corn tortillas as advertised. The pressing mechanism and plate surface are too aggressive, causing the dough to tear every time you try to flatten it. It's disappointing because it's marketed as a "Electric Tortilla Maker," but it can't handle standard corn masa.

It deserves 5 Stars, all what I was looking for, great for making GF tortilla like, soft or crispy.

Temperature is not that high to make Indian roti. Smaller in size and weight to store.

Is it perfect hand rolled roti? No, but it is my first try and it was 75% good, little rubbery but I think i didn’t allow it to cook fully, I am absolutely happy and looking forward to more home made rotis! No more store bought frozen ones!!

It is nice and compact, but I noticed it doesn't heat up all sides evenly when making a roti. Not sure if I am applying the pressure equally on all sides, but it is still working well for me. It is also very easy to clean. Only need to clean it with a disinfectant wipe and a damp wet paper towel. I think a lot has to do with how you make the dough for the roti.

Lousy build quality. There is no way this flattens the roti. There is no leverage to press down.

NOT FOR CHILDREN! Excellent results with practice. I use this every day!! It has been fun and I have more to learn.( I have only made tortillas so far.) First impression was that The plastic feels light and brittle and not very sturdy , but it turns out this does not need a lot of pressure to flatten the dough. I expect this will last a long time with care. I doubt it will survive accidents or abuse but it does a fine job. Don't oil it , keep the surface dry , just wipe it off that is all you need to do. It took me awhile to find what works for me, Hot water helps relax the gluten for thinner tortillas, I use Walmart flour tortilla mix((Mexican biswquick)(it is just easier). I like the thicker tortillas I make with a super wet dough.It is hard to resist pushing the topdown to much or a second time(which creates steam and tears the tortilla apart. I think high is close to 500º fast forward toMay 2025.... I LOVE this I invented a new flatbread this morning I mixed flour, water softenedbutterand bisquick.into a a very wet dough ..ploppedabout 1/4 cup onto pre-heated hotsurface (using highest settingpossible. squish it down to a nice thick pancake...cook til dappled with golden spots . yop with butter and fruit jelly. is very tastyb served on one of these tender biscuit/pancakes. Have fun!

Works good but I received it with 5 pointed scratches.

I tried once to make corn flour bread , I need bit more practice, I think need to adjust bit heat higher or keep it on bit over medium and half way pickup the flat bread(roti) and rest heat up on grill (tawa),I have tried wheat flour bread yet but seems like this one good for me, hold the dough good and flatten it,love it

This product did not meet my expectations. I purchased it specifically to make chapatis and rotis, but they came out hard like papads. Unfortunately, it is not the right product for this purpose.

The product doesn't do what it is suppose to do at all. Why are you wasteing people time by making them order it and then return it. Please don't order this. I have tried all the possible ways to make a roti but couldn't make a single one right, can't even make tortillas. The size of the roti will not get any bigger or thinner.
