Adventures In God Paperback – August 31, 2016

There’s nothing I can find that I dislike about this book. It is a quick read. In it I learned that not all healings are instant, some take much time. The key seems to be knowing in your spirit that the deed is done. Jesus said, “apart from Me you can do nothing “ so abide in the word and His presence and expect to see miracles happen.

I love the testimonies in this book, but I would recommend other JGL books. This one takes snapshots of testimonies and stories and puts them back to back, which makes for some choppy reading.

Religion is man's way to describe a relationship with God. However, with the getting over self and manmade rules there is Holy Spirit Who exchanges every lie for the truth. I receive the hope and life and healing from the testimony of Pastor Lake and know the present working of God is a true gift for all. His lovingkindness is a unmatched and inviting to dwell in. I pray all who read this book are inspired to just be in Him and walk like and do like our Lord and Savior. In His precious name Amen.

John Lake's sacred life of devotion to God is most inspiring . During this time there were many healing by the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He was one of the best!!

I had already heard the book in its entirety by audio narration and wanted to get a physical one to keep on my shelves and read over and over again when I wanted to reference those testimonies quickly.This is the story of a man who makes you cry at God's GOODNESS and GREATNESS when men are WILLING and OBEDIENT. HE makes me think of Isaiah's response when God said "Whom shall I send and who will go FOR US.? and Isaiah responded "Here am I LORD, send me."I am sure there was an ANGEL HONOR GUARD waiting to escort this man to the throne on the day he arrived in heaven. Read the book, it will inspire you to LOOK TO JESUS and see GREAT WONDERS!

I am so glad I purchased this book. I have read books that quoted John G Lake but these are his own words written out of his experiences with God! There were portions that I read and re-read because they were so powerful! Read this book! You will be changed!

Powerful and very informative on the power of the Holy Spirit and showing the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus and proving that we only need to have faith in God

This will inspire you to believe and set aside all doubt that miracles are of the past.may it inflame a hunger for God in each reader that surpasses the worldly appeal

One of the most amazing accounts of God in the dealings of man I have read,an incredible journey into the adventurous life of John G Lake and his God ! He proved him all the way! I chose this rating because this book holds to all I believe and know in God and more. It stands as a witness and testimony to the greatness of the mighty God of heaven ! I would recommend it to any and all seeking for the true account of the living power of the Lord Jesus and a wonderful Heavenly Father the God of the universe ! And his wonderful works amongst men.

Just by reading this book, I am encouraged to seek God more than ever, for whom He is. Same thing can still happen today.

Phenomenal story of a life devoted to God. Very inspiring and encouraging. Well worth reading. Quick and easy to read.

There is so much available for us all wow, and here is a man who walked with God and revealed him so!! True blessing and honour to read 👑
