Nice, compact, EArc capable, EDID adjustable
I specifically use this for a projector with a soundbar. This switcher’s input functions are basically what you’d find on modernized TVs. These are the inputs/outputs: In: 3 Hdmi, 1 Hdmi E-ARC Out (to the projector’s hdmi input) 1 Hdmi E-ARC I have a Playstation 5/Firestick hooked up with 2 of the inputs on the switcher. It does have an auto switch function (works pretty good) and you have the ability to remotely and manually switch (also works pretty good). It might take some getting used to but once you have it down, it works fantastic. I can also confirm that Dolby Atmos can be transmitted through this switch. There is an EDID function you can adjust if you have handshake issues between your devices. Specifically for my setup, I was hoping to achieve Dolby Atmos from the firestick. It did not detect Atmos initially. I had to adjust the EDID from the default 1-1-1 to 1-1-0 with a power cycle, and viola, works like a charm now. Super satisfied. If you’re debating, do some research with its functions and decide what your ultimate goal is, try it out, if it’s not on par with your goal, return it within amazons return policy date.

Great to get the most out of your soundbar with an old TV
I've got this setup to split the audio and video between an Sonos Arc soundbar and 1st gen Samsung QLED LCD. Now I can finally get full DTS and Atmos audio, before if it was anything but Dolby it would switch to Stereo for me from my bluray. Now I'm getting the full abilities of the Sonos soundbar and could not be happier! HDMI-CEC is also passed through so my AppleTV can be controlled with the TV remote still (appletv remote is kinda bad). Having to select the Input from the devices included remote control is a small price to pay to get full sound format support. The price is also is very nice as the alternative solutions would be multiple times more for a Receiver with two outputs or a new TV that supports DTS/Atmos... I've got the soundbar into input 1, the tv on the output and then my AppleTV, bluray and xbox on the 2, 3, 4 inputs. 110 setup for the dip swtiches so it will split the audio to input 1 and video to the output and working great.

If you're looking to use this with a capture card, it might not work.
I have a BK-21A from OREI hooked up to an elgato 4k x as my current setup. It works great. No problems, I can capture clean footage. However, the only issue I currently have with it is that I need more hdmi inputs to connect multiple consoles and a PC. With the BK-21A I can really only connect one console and the PC. So I got this BK-401A with the idea that I'd replace the BK-21A with it for more inputs. Unfortunately, the output from the BK-401A doesn't connect to the elgato. The signal for the output on both the HDMI switch and the elgato blink on and off, never achieving any connection. I don't know if it's something to do with the eARC functionality, it simply will not connect no matter what setting I try (eARC on and off, various EDID settings). The BK-401A does work between the devices and the monitor, just not when it's between the devices and the capture card in the link. Unfortunately, it doesn't mesh at all with my setup, so I'll have to return it. Maybe the BK-41A will work.

(No Longer…)Worth it.
Update: I’m presently one month past Amazon’s return window and wouldn’t you know it, my HDMI switch is glitching badly. Regularly, it drops audio, and I’m constantly having to unplug it for 2 minutes. Usually, that’ll work, but a few days ago, not only did that not solve the audio issues, but now it’s affecting video as well. I tried everything they suggest online. Including contacting customer support. The switch started working again after a 24-hour break; however, the sound is really bad. Support took their time getting back to me. When they did finally respond, it was just to simply say, “It sounds like it’s defective. Send us your order number or a copy of your purchase invoice. No tips or suggestions?” So I emailed them the receipt, and another day later, I got an email simply giving me an address and telling me to mail it to them so they can repair or replace it . That’s it. There were no attempts to use the dedicated USB-C update port or any other troubleshooting; just it to them at my expense, which I think if it’s a defective and not the result of my use, then I shouldn’t be expected to flip the bill to fix what was sent out defective. I guess I’m used to buying from Amazon, where they pay return shipping and they send out a new one and they’re concerned with customer satisfaction. Amazon knows that a happy customer is a loyal customer. They didn’t even tell me how long till this process is over, let alone give me a chance to ask questions. (Turns out website says it’ll take 3-4 weeks) I’m considering just binning it and trying a different brand. I don’t want to go without speakers or watch with my bad tv speakers. I just wish I had gone with a different one like one sold by Amazon so that this would’ve been easier. SECOND UPDATE: Yeah, I’m over it. Their switch when functioning properly is great, but the problem is that when it doesn’t work, it’s frustrating because it doesn’t work at all. If they had a more customer-friendly business practices, maybe I’d try the brand again, but considering I’m now out $70 for a switch that is basically a paperweight now and since purchasing this, money has gotten tight, I don’t have the shipping or the return shipping needed to get them to fix their defective device, so I’m just going without. Should’ve been a red flag when the switch included a card offering an “extended warranty” if I reviewed the device. The review is still present. The “extended warranty” does not add any value. Don’t bother writing one. So my honest opinion of this is that it’s almost perfect. That’s the reason there isn’t 5 stars, but I’ll go over that in a minute. First, let me say I’ve used a number of HDMI switches ranging from $20 to the price of this one. If I had known then what I know, even though it’s not 5 stars, I would’ve saved myself the headache and started with this one. There was one I tried that was only $20, and it did almost everything except while it said it could handle Dolby Atmos, it couldn’t, at least not without making the audio go in and out. This one showed me not only what the Atmos should sound like when it’s supported but it actually showed me what Dolby Vision should’ve looked like. The other switch “supported” it, but it wasn’t until I returned that one and took a shot with this one that I learned how wrong I was to think it looked good because this one did it perfectly, and man was it a crisp picture with amazing color. You don’t have to break the bank to find good tech; sometimes you can research, but sometimes you have to go with trial and error. With this one by Oreo, the only problem I have is that the EDID DIP SWITCH is really tiny and has to be operated manually, and the manual for me didn’t adequately explain how it’s used, so I’m going by trial and error. Basically, I wish that since it’s not on the remote, either the switches were bigger or even better on the remote. Also, I’d love it if I knew which one to use with what content for certain. I only know that I need to change the setting when I can only hear the instrumental and laugh tracks from films and tv series. This is just a convenience; however, having big fingers and struggling to change those settings and ultimately having to bend a paper clip just to get in there. It’s kind of frustrating, and it’s a little bit, but it’s enough to not give it five stars, but otherwise, it is a really great, and I do recommend it, and I would actually still buy it again even knowing that it had a tiny little switch in the front because otherwise, it works really well! 5 stars is perfect, and this isn’t perfect, but it’s so close to perfect that the flaws can be ignored.

Get 3 additional hdmi ports (4k120hz) and keep your earc!
Buy this if you need additional hdmi ports at 4k 120hz. I connected it to the earc on my tv and my PS, Xbox, and Soundbar work without issue. The earc/soundbar works even when I use a different hdmi port or watch tv/movies. The auto option is also useful. You can turn on your Xbox/PS5 and it will switch by itself.
