Great little workhorse filter.

This device works as it should. It is slow. I hope it is removing all that I need it to remove. I am not using this water for drinking but I'm using it in place of distilled water.

I haven’t used it yet and probably won’t until I really need it. It looks like it’s made well and will do a good job when needed. I have read the instructions on how to use and will keep the battery charged every 4 months or so. It’s not my only thing for filtering water but it may be the fastest. I thought the price was reasonable and hope all goes well with it! Good luck to all!

From what I can see and tell this is built pretty good on top you see a compass I am sure that will help you get lost really fast ha ha… they make me rate these things even if I don’t test them judge for yourself

As much as I wanted to like this for my survival kit, it feels cheaply made, and does not feel like a piece of kit I want to trust with my life. It does ... something... though I can't be sure it's filtering, as even after the 10 minute suggested run time, the water I filtered still had some weird particulates that I have to assume come from the filter itself, as I was using hose water in a bucket. now... I didn't test this with a microscope, and I can't comment on whether or not it's filtering at the .01 microns it claims to, but I have done this test with both a life straw and a sawyer squeeze and I didn't see any weird stuff floating in the water when I finished. I wish I could say that this was a great piece of kit, but honestly, it doesn't pass the vibe check.

It is a little tricky to figure out, i thought it didn't work at first, after some trouble shooting and charging over night I got it to turn on. Once on it seemed to work decent and do what it's intended to do, I did like the compact size and and accessories, I only gave 4 stars because how tricky it was to figure out!

This is a really cool piece of kit for your bugout bag or outdoor adventures. This water filter is from ARC a Texas based company, though this item is manufactured in China (as most things are these days). That said it is of a good quality and seems like it will hold up over time, within the limits of its design. The body is a sturdy plastic, but it is still plastic so I wouldn't give it the drop test too often as chances are it will crack or break eventually. The kit comes with everything you need to get filtering, the unit, tubing, pre-filter replacements (and tweezers to pull them out and replace them), USB charger, a weight to hold the tube in the water, a storage bag for the unit, and 2 water storage bags. It really is a complete kit. At .01 microns the filter will work well on most natural non saltwater bodies of water removing bacteria, debris, and parasites. I tried it on tap water, and I felt it made the water taste better. I plan on taking it on my next camping trip and giving it a true test in the wild. The only negative things I will point out is as expected the compass is nothing to write home about. It is true and points north, so it will get you going in the right direction just don't expect it to allow you to do complex accurate land navigation. The other negative is the LED light on the top is weak it is not a light you would use as a primary source, but it will help you find the unit in the dark if it is turned on. A final note - make sure to read the directions and happy filtering. My overall rating for this product is 4.5 stars.
