I use this thing to measure backing frames for hardboard panels which I paint on instead of on canvas on stretcher bars. Tape measurements have a way of going wild on me. Now I lock the measurement in place with this thing. And moving the measurement to the stock on the saw couldn’t be easier. Measure once. Cut once. Perfect every time. Excellent value for the money.

I was a bit skeptical about spending so much on a ruler, but since I've had it, it's the first thing in my shop I reach for when I need to measure things. I've accuracy tested it, and it's pretty much perfect, to the point that it's the standard new tapes must go by. Tldr, too expensive, but worth it
