IDEAL 365 Office Fabric Operator Chairs 2 lever PCB (Black, Adjustable Arms)

I am impressed, this is comfortable, easy to assemble and a good product. Arrived promptly with no problems. I was concerned about some of the bad reviews but I took a chance and I am very glad I did. It is a lot better than the last chair I had and although I have not had it long enough to judge it's durability it certainly seems sturdy and strong enough. Good adjustment available. I recommend this chair

Having lived with this chair for a few more weeks I felt compelled to come back and amend this review. The seat cushion and it's stiff backing has come away from the back panel of the chair. The entire top half of the seat back needs these two pieces connected to remain stiff and now they're not connected any more that whole top half flexes a LOT, making leaning back in the chair very uncomfortable. I cannot in good conscience recommend this chair for the price it is set at (£69). It simply isn't worth that much. I am going to be replacing it as soon as I can afford to. Previous review: For the price I paid I can't be disappointed in this chair really. It's comfortable even for long periods. The fabric it's made from feels like it is very hard wearing. I think it's the probably best seat I have personally bought in this price range (£50 - £70). However, there are niggles I have found with this chair in the past two months. The arms are very very low. I can't lean my elbows on both at the same time even though I'm a distinctly average 5'10" tall. To put one elbow on the arms I have to lean over uncomfortably. While we're talking about the arms, they flex some when you put your weight on them to stand. They don't seem like they'd break, but it's unnerving nevertheless. When you press on the seat back you can feel a hard rib running across it beneath the cushioning at the thickest part. It's not a problem now but I think after several months of daily use when the padding has worn thin it would prove uncomfortable to lean against. Finally the back rest has a height adjustment that refuses to stay up where I want it no matter how tight I turn the knob that holds it there.

I had to return the original chair as I could not assemble one of the parts. However, the company were terrific and respond immediately and then sent another chair which I managed to assemble. It is very comfortable and looks good. A very decent family company and highly recommended.

Quick and easy to put together, comfortable to sit on, what more could you want? I have to take a mark off for a broken piece of plastic (cosmetic, doesn't affect the end use) and the base was oddly really dirty so I wonder if it might have been ex-display. Also, having been using a mesh backed chair for years, I had not appreciated just how much of a difference the cushioned back would be in the current warm weather. If you're in a cold room, you'll like this as a warm chair, but I think I'll need to get one of those mesh lumbar support thingies for summer and that is probably something worth being aware of before purchase.
